The fifth Field of TPS (Manifestation of the Purpose) relates to the manifestation of a New Culture/Civilization. At the dawn of the new age it is necessary to wonder what we mean by Culture. It is an essential question since it is upon the answers that the work of building a new civilization will be based. It should be added that Culture has always been, for mankind, that ubiquitous element that affects its life whether it knows it or not, likes it or not.
We can imagine Culture as a space stirred, in circular motion, by an indefinable number of thoughts, desires, plans for the future, love of beauty, great works, accurate researches, ideals and incessant and dynamic vortexes renewing and improving life. We can also imagine it as a large and carefully cultivated field where the countless human faculties yield their fruits. Surely, this is the domain in which human beings build their future.
For a new Culture, humanity needs new thoughts, images and ways (the current of thought is unlimited). We are free to think, and this freedom, our glory and burden, cannot be denied. Freedom, of its essence, can create; it is known that all human creations are the result of new thoughts, sometimes revolutionary. For a better future, therefore, our efforts should be maximized. We should build and launch loving and incisive thoughts, co-measured to the goal and with the power to shape the spatial substance, thus starting the process of building a new world.
It is thus essential to define the highest goal, toward which this incessant motion, this essential element of our lives (Culture), tends.
Finally the time has come to destroy the idea that the individual self is the only center around which everything revolves, both in heaven and earth, replacing it with a wider, more constructive and responsible thought: Common Good. The universe tends to the Good, and if this principle is accepted, then that Good, both spiritual, intellectual and material, belongs to everyone. Culture has the task of educating consciousness to this fundamental idea, ensuring gradual and voluntary approaches that will produce their inevitable expansion. This seems to be a possible approach to connect, in a harmonic way, the various human activities. A bright consciousness sees the overall design and understands all the different needs, commensurating the major to the minor and looking at heaven and earth without separating them but seeing their unity. A bright consciousness loves humanity, of which is part; wishes and imagines its development, and in so doing, builds it, in any field.
What are the sectors of the New Culture/Civilization in which to sow and promote the founding principles? A first possible answer is divided into seven parts:
1. Government: capacity to identify ways and directions that ensure progressive stages of freedom; the power directing to the Common Good.
2. Education: Magnetic action of Love. A real educator learns/teaches the art of living.
3. Economy: Application of planning skills to best administer common resources in service of the Planet.
4. Art: Comprehension and creative expression of Beauty.
5. Science: Knowledge of Laws of Nature and their application through wisely methodical Work.
6. Communication: The thread linking all the Centers; the Way taking back to the One.
7. Organization: Rhythmic coordination and integration of all activities and structures.
