Sirius – the Mystery of the Magnet

On July 6 of each annual revolution, the “axis of the world” led by the astrological hinge Cancer-Capricorn sees in its field the presence of the sovereign Star Sirius, the Sun of suns, the Soul or celestial Isis[1] of our Sun (the ‘feminine’ or receptive counterpart of the Giant Orion, Osiris risen to Heaven). Sirius is ‘the primary of our Sun’, in polarity or opposition (on the same ecliptic meridian circle) to the radiant sun Vega, the player of the sevenfold Lyra, our future North Star (in about 12,000 years).

In this direction/day, an array or primary proportion between planetary, solar and cosmic Fires is composed:

Vega : Earth = Sun : Sirius

which puts our beloved planet in resonance, through Its ‘soul’, the Sun, with the sonorous string of the Heart, stretched by our local Magnet, Sirius, Singer and Consort of Orion:

Earth : Sun = Vega : Sirius

As in the ancient myth, Isis, the ‘nurse and womb that receives everything’, brings together the fragments of her beloved Osiris after long wanderings and proofs of wisdom and courage, and transforms the typhoon of Life (Dragon, Great Bear and Little Bear) into a new creative energy (the solar Son: Horus, the new annual cycle). Thus ‘She’ fills our earth with vital seeds, agents of evolution for consciousness, the illuminated house of the Heart.

The Heart governs the power of Life

to regenerate everything through the splendor of beauty.

The Magnet of Love fecundates Substance.

What fiery germ, spark or inner treasure, could we feed into the heart of humanity, today, under the influence of the Sun of suns, in the full splendor of the Sun?

Sirius, the heavenly Isis, the source and Goddess of light and freedom, is ‘intimately connected to our planetary Life’:[2] within the consciousness of that ‘illuminated supreme Entity’ the essence of our tiny Planet lives. From that ‘sphere of functioning and intelligent activity’ the powerful energy of pure Love emanates, i.e., the conscious and expansive impulse to ‘search’, to ‘desire’, to ‘bind the light’, the universal motive agent of liberation for the myriad forms of Its creation.

Sirius, next to ‘her’ royal consort and brother Orion, is the golden way of resurrection, marked in the Heart of the Sun, and in every soul, by perfect Love.

Thus the Heart, the magnet of resurrection, stands as a temple for humanity, as an Altar dedicated to the supreme power of Life, which can be reached following the kaleidoscopic light of the rose window generated by the marriage of the two Origins, Sirius and Orion, the cosmic towers and attractors for Liberation and Resurrection.

The open hearts, eternally in love with the Order of Beauty, skim the Mystery of that remote Sun and create a path of power:

1. Cancer—Capricorn—Saturn (which are an expression of Sirian energy) enable the aspirant to tread the Path of Purification, of Probation. These energies focus and qualify the energy of the Great Lodge of the Most High in that distant Sun. They pour through the Hierarchy upon the mass of men and enable the unit in that mass to “isolate himself and turn his back upon the past and find his way on to that section of the Path wherein he learns to feel.” (A. A. Bailey, Esoteric Astrology, Lucis Collection, p. 466).

It’s beautiful to feel the heart as the sun of suns of the universe.

The builders of the new Temple, recognizing the crucial value of times, concentrate their efforts and continue steadfast in the work of building the new world, in imitation of the great pyramid of the Heavens, of its hierarchy of sublime Lives. They are sure of the immutability of the goal which is approximating along the sunlit path of Humanity: the triumph of spatial Love, Sacredness.

Let us consecrate ‘the King’s and Queen’s Chambers’, the power of the heart and intelligent love, to the heavenly Sources and Lights of Cosmic Right, at the advent of the great dates of Fire.

…immutable is the fiery Law, engraved on all the tables,

and traced by the same great life of the eternal Magnet.
