In the day of the alignment Sun-Earth-Neptune (the Lord of the sacred Waters of Ideas, of the 6th Ray — Abstract Idealism or Devotion to the Purpose), let us sow in the “waters” of our consciousness the following illuminating thought-forms about the Ideal Art of composing the causes of the Future:*
“Anyone engaged in a subjective work, that is to say in the building of the causes, has the feeling not ever to see any of the effects he is aiming to; he accepts this as an unavoidable condition, sacrificing any legitimate desire to sense the progress of his impersonal activities.
This is certainly a correct and beneficial attitude; still, it is not true that the Opus remains, in a manner of speaking, imperceptible to its Creator. That sensation is due to the inexperience of the player and, however, soon or later, it is meant to be replaced by a higher understanding.
In fact, as he acts on a causal level, where no separation can be conceived, there isn’t any consistent distinction between his own consciousness and the Opus being developed. Within that sphere, the Opus, the Labour and the Labourer are one.
Hence, the latter can know the state of the first, simply staring deep into his own conscience, where the Opus and its Maker are always joint. The consciousness of the Creator perfectly mirrors its Creature, and therefore its features and conditions of growth are to be searched therein.
Actually, what is this OPUS? With increasing experience, its features are perceived as undefined, yet, not so much because of an executional flaw, but rather due to the very thoroughness of its execution. The more we focus on our inner and impersonal labour, the wider the substance of the Form in construction turns out to be, to such an extend that this couldn’t be described in any concrete terms, as it widens and gets inclusive in turn. Gradually, the Opus gets the universal meaning we work and live for.
Never the less, any builder could build his own Temple, that is to say, it may be full of individual qualities, albeit it is made in a group and accordingly to accepted and common rules.
Considering the connection of the Opus to its builder, any possible progression in this latter’s conscience turns out to be to perfect the whole Opus, also the phases which have been already carried out, even its first fundamentals, because any improvement spreads to all of the parts”.
“The concrete mind, as natural thought forms matrix, senses the Ideas, namely the causes of the Form, as if they were vague, uncertain and undefined. He perceives those entities likewise mist or phantoms, where in fact they are exact, precise and ordered. Even when he can get their presence, those lights blur to his contact. This happens for the OPUS, too.
Thus, it’s good to try to see straight in this direction, because both the precision of the work and the accuracy of its execution depend on this.
The OPUS has got a structure of its own and in its field there are laws, rules and orders. It is a multi-level great complex of correct and balanced relationships, interacting with other WORKS. It’s a matter of a building of organised spirituality, which is self-sufficient and still free to aggregate into other ensembles and to incorporate them into itself.
Of course it is global, therefore planetary, but that is why it may be considered solar, and much more than this.
As long as it increasingly widens when it is explored by our consciousness, so that it can’t have any real boundary, its Constructors raise, in ranks and individually, committed to an unconditional collaboration. Its nature is such, that anyone can express his best virtues, so that he can enrich one region as if this were independent from its whole, and this in the full freedom of his intelligence.
Never the less, all of the activities are subject to the imperative necessity of cooperation, which leads to the progressive fusion of the different creative groups into increasingly superior and more powerful entities.
Therefore, it can be said that the OPUS, the OPERATOR and the OPERATION are the same and only Life.
This suggests to observe simultaneously and constantly into two directions: into the sphere of possible action in each given phase, and into the other interacting spheres, the latter raising towards the very ultimate synthesis.
Therefore, the creator works on his own level without neglecting the correlation and the infinity of the Whole. He can get his input smaller or bigger, either concentrating it or expanding without diluting it. The OPUS is broad and small at the same time, and it remains infinite.
While this conception is gradually accepted and absorbed by the rational mind, the creator, or better the Builder, learns that he can act as well as an isolated entity as likewise a group, but even on different levels, since he is guided from Above and enabled to lead downward.
He gradually acquires the capability to work consistently, yet rhythmically in intensity and phase, and this activity is gradually soaking up all his energy and interest.”*
