Yoga of Synthesis and the One Humanity

The Yoga of Synthesis is the New Yoga for the Aquarian Age.  Humanity will add knowledge of the Soul through understanding its correct placement and function within the Whole, adding to the existence of devotion of the soul. An essential task of the New Group of World Servers is to transmit the energies of the Reality of the Whole.

“While belief in the soul became widespread during the sixth ray period, knowledge of the soul will be the result of the incoming ray activity.” (From Lucis Trust, Festival of Aquarius Talk February 2020).

As much as many of us love and revere the Soul and its beautiful qualities, and indeed many are working toward perfecting the lower nature to perfectly reflect those qualities, as intelligent beings, we also realize that the whole of human life does not stop at the Soul.  But rather continues up into Infinity.  We are part of the Whole of Cosmos and the interconnection of all life is becoming a recognized fact.  Humanity is privy to the discoveries of science about the nature of energy and indeed we can view wondrous pictures of space and many of its marvelous and divine forms, all in a symphony of movement and harmony.  They may not yet, however, have integrated this fact with their own personal lives, or the life of the planet or Cosmos.

It seems that with the advancements humanity has already achieved and will continue to achieve in this New Age, that the words of Lucis Trust above hint at the possibility of the knowledge of the Soul might be widely explained in terms of the Whole and the threefold nature of human beings being Spirit, Soul, or Higher Consciousness and Personality, each of these three being triple in the eventual expression of the qualities od Deity, Will/Power; Love/Wisdom, Intelligent Activity   With the Soul acting as the bridge between the Spirit (or the spark of Divinity within each one) and the lower personality, concrete mind, emotions, and body.  All eventually to blend and reach union with the One Life that pours through everything in existence. 

A most interesting paragraph from Mary Bailey’s book, A Learning experience,  first published in 1990 by Lucis Trust was happened upon today and might shed more light on our coming task for the future:

“No one can interpret words or the meaning of identification for another.  It is those who do so who penetrate, esoterically, by living the teaching, who do begin to achieve some measure of identification with the whole of life and freedom from the limitations of their own individuality, and who serve to pioneer the way, to lead humanity forward into the new yoga of the Aquarian Age, the Yoga of Synthesis.” p. 218

The Yoga of Synthesis is not only a first or second ray presentation, but includes the totality of all rays and is suitable for disciples on every ray and associated with every Ashram and subsidiaries to incorporate into their service activities.  It is inspired by those who have gone before us and left the wisdom and information that is needed to move forward into the future.

Mary Bailey goes on to say on p. 219 that groups within the chain of Hierarchy must and will in the future assume leadership roles within the evolution of consciousness and the reconstruction of the world….the pattern of the Hierarchy is repeated at the human level, based upon profound cosmic principles and well-established rhythms of energy flow and energy relationships…

“At the centre of every esoteric group, A.A.B. once said, “stands a world disciple.”  The responsibility of that focal point – the world disciple, the Master of an ashram and the Christ at the heart of Hierarchy – is to receive and transmit energy and vision, to coordinate, integrate and synthesise, to generate cohesive and intelligent activity and to make sure that there is an unimpeded communication and interrelationship throughout the whole group, from the centre to the periphery and from the periphery to the centre, including all wherever they may stand in unfoldment and accepted responsibility, consequently assuring that the outward flow into humanity itself will reach out with what is needed, when and where needed.”

So it seems that it behooves us all to begin if we have not done so already, to incorporate the idea and reality of the Whole in all our minds and hearts and service activities through whatever rays we are expressing.  It puts ALL in proper perspective and greatly assists in the elimination of some of the Illusions, Glamors and Maya that many members of humanity and indeed many disciples in every ashram are still so prone to and hence victims of these misapprehensions of reality.  We cannot share or pass on accurately what the Hierarchy is attempting to do, to fulfill part of the Purpose if we do not acquire it as an essential part of our own energetic expression which we share with all within our areas of influence.  All who consider themselves to be part of the New Group of World Servers or a link on any step in the chain of lives responsible for planetary evolution, including Hierarchy and Shamballa must make a supreme effort to ensure that the work they are transmitting to others accurately reflects what is being transmitted for the New Era insofar as they are able. 

Lastly one might wonder why the Yoga of Synthesis is called a ‘new yoga’.  After all, Agni Yoga dictated by Master M. has much of the thoughts of our oneness with Cosmos and instructions to strive toward that Reality which emphasises the Will Aspect.  He also explains that each Yoga is connected to an element, with Agni Yoga being connected to the element of Fire and the Mental plane.  He states that its precise name is the Yoga of Self Sacrifice (Agni Yoga #158)  The Agni Yoga collection was dictated beginning in 1920 with publication dates through 1920, the 30s & a few in the 40s.  

Each century a special kind of yoga is introduced, appropriate to the world’s condition. (AY 188)

Master M. tells us that as each yoga is connected to an element; that each is designed for a particular step in evolution and that they do not contradict each other, rather are like the branches of one tree, and that only in the synthesis of the old and the new is a renewal of possibilities attainable.

Synthesis is connected to the Buddhic Plane, the plane of spiritual intuition, wherein straight knowledge is achieved and connected with the element of air and works through the Heart centre.  We are told that Christ will come ‘through the air’, surely this has a connection with the Buddhic Plane; with straight knowledge and wholes; and with the energy of Synthesis.  It is difficult to believe that the Reappearance is simply to demonstrate the Soul once again, which was anchored on earth over 2,000 years ago.  Perhaps this time it will explain the meaning and purpose of the soul within the Whole, and the part it plays within not only a human constitution but its purpose as a carrier of energy to the other life forms on the planet and also its function eventually as the carrier of the energy of the Spirit to its human reflection thus affecting not only the planet but all cosmic systems we are intimately connected to.  Just as one small part of a human body that is diseased and/or restored to health affects the whole system of which it is a part.

The Buddha and the Christ previously anchored the energies to dispel the illusion of the mental plane and the glamours of the astral plane, establishing the Temple of Light on the Mental Plane, the Temple of Love on the Astral.  It is possible that one thing Christ will attempt is to bring forth and anchor the energy of Synthesis which will eventually cause the elimination of Maya, the delusions of the physical plane and the senses which can only be dispelled by the recognition that all that exists issues from and is part of One Source,  and all is connected with all else.  (Light of the Soul, p. 107).  This will establish the Temple of Power on the Physical Plane.  All three temples thereby representing the three Divine Aspects reflected onto the lower planes. 

The Global Brain has been established and is functioning.  It is the right time for the Global Heart to be vivified.

Master DK tells us that first degree initiates existed in the thousands  in the mid 40s, and will exist in the millions by 2025 as a result of the seventh ray activity. R&I p. 571.

And we also know that there are many on the planet today who have gone beyond this initiation with the aid of the Soul and their own system of beliefs.  All it takes to unite everyone in the fellowship of the one family of Humanity within the One Life is the widespread recognition of the synthesis of all life and the vast importance of the human kingdom within that life. 

Shamballa and Hierarchy are always aware of and working towards improving and stimulating conditions ‘on the ground’, but also perhaps more importantly their plans also deal with the future, and the blueprints and planting of seeds are always simultaneously being laid for the future.

“The next race will be a fusion of the whole, and a world-wide recognition of the One Humanity is an essential prerequisite of the sowing.  It is the creation of this universal recognition which will be one of the major tasks of the reappearing Christ and His attendant Hierarchy.”

Now we have the key of Synthesis put into our hands which will tie all together.  Let us begin to use it!
