Mother of the World – Solar Festival of Cancer

Today, Solar Festival or Full Moon of Cancer (Earth and Moon in the opposite Sign, Capricorn), we celebrate the seventh of the 12 Festivals of this year 6.2 dedicated to an admirable symbol of the generative and creative power of the Infinite: the Mother of the World, “Substance of Love that illuminates everything”.
These events, which see us contemplating and sowing some passages of the Teaching on the Mother, the feminine Origin of the Manifestation, counterbalance the Earth-Sun entrances into the 12 Signs of the Zodiac dedicated to the 12 Assertions of the Christ-Maitreya.

In the esoteric Teachings it is stated that:
Cancer is the door of the zodiac consonant with material nature and the mother of forms, with potential, just like the other, Capricorn, is consonant with the spirit, father of all that IS, with fulfillment.
Cancer is the door of the zodiac consonant with the mother of forms, with potentiality, just as the other door, Capricorn, is consonant with spirit, the father of all that IS, with fulfilment.
What begins in Cancer is the vital power of the form principle, which wraps life without limiting it …
This Sign is the most valid symbol of all the attributes or conditions of the feminine polarity of existence …
In Cancer the devotion of the soul has reached such a point that the impulse to express surpasses all others, and the processes of incarnation are imposed upon it.
Cancer, the Sign of birth and generation, encompasses the whole question of Rebirth.
And it is in Cancer that it is possible to contemplate the intimate relationship between the Mother of all forms, the Moon (exoteric ruler), and the God of waters, Neptune, (esoteric and hierarchical ruler), the esoteric nuptials who represents for humanity a great synthesis between form and desire-sensation which, without form and without mindfulness of the need to react sensitively to environment and circumstances, the soul could never know in the three worlds; it could not know God in manifestation.

In this Full Moon of Cancer (Sun-Earth-Moon Direction), the Group of World Servers, the planetary Server, the golden section between Hierarchy and Humanity (Sun and Earth), realising in itself the Unity between Spirit/Sun and Matter/Moon, radiates the liberating Light into the human Consciousness, qualified by the Formula of the Mother correlated to the energy of this Sign:

From the command of the Mother the Ocean of Silence is born

And above all spoken commands rings out the Silent Command— All-penetrating, Immutable, Indivisible, Irrevocable, Effulgent, AllBestowing, Unutterable, Irrepeatable, Invulnerable, Inexpressible, Timeless, Undeferable, Illuminating, Manifest in Lightning.
Here are two Commands—at the limits of the World are the Lords Christ and Buddha. And Their Word is as a Flaming Sword. But above them is manifest a Silent Command.
Above Them is She Who veiled Her Face, She Who wove the Web of the far-off worlds, She the Envoy of the Unutterable, the Ruler of the Intangible, the Bestower of the Unrepeatable.
By Thy Command is the Ocean Silenced and the whirlwinds trace the invisible signs.
And She Who Veiled Her Face shall stand Alone in Vigil, amid the Splendor of Her Signs.
And none shall mount the Summit. None shall witness the Effulgence of the Dodecahedron, the Sign of Her Power.

I have already told you that the Mother of the World conceals Her Name. I have already shown you how the Mother of the World hides Her Face. I have already made mention of the Mother of the Buddha and Christ.
Certainly, it is now time to tell people that the Mother of both Lords is not a symbol but a Great Manifestation of the Feminine Origin—the spiritual Mother of Christ and the Buddha. It was She who taught Them and ordained Them for podvig. From time immemorial the Mother of the World has sent forth Her children to podvig.
Throughout the history of humanity, Her Hand traces an unbreakable thread. On Sinai Her Voice rang forth. She assumed the image of Kali. She was at the foundation of Isis and Ishtar. After Atlantis, when a blow was inflicted upon the cult of the spirit, She began to spin a new thread, which now is beginning to shine forth. After Atlantis the Mother of the World veiled Her Face and forbade anyone to utter Her Name until the hour of the constellations struck… (Leaves of Morya’s Garden II § 220)

… the principle of life cannot be asserted without the realization of the Feminine Origin. Like the Cosmos, Mulaprakriti is a universal principle. The Origins cannot be regarded as competitive forces; only unification of the forces creates life. And We, in the higher worlds, manifest a consecrated reverence for the Origin which humanity calls passive. Yes, yes, yes! The higher consciousness knows the Truth and We are ready to proclaim this Truth to humanity; but for this, humanity must ascend the higher step. Yes, yes, yes! When each Lord had to be given to the world by a mother, how may one not revere Thee, Mother of the World! When each Spatial Fire has to be made manifest in a form, how may one not revere Her who gives life! Yes, yes, yes! … For there is no life, no expression of spirit, without the Mother of the Universe, the Great Matter of All-Being… in reality spirit and matter are one. Spirit without matter is nothing, and matter is but the crystallization of spirit. The manifested Universe, visible and invisible, from the highest to the lowest, reveals to us the infinite aspects of Radiant Matter. Where there is no matter, there is no life. Every structure has its outer walls and its unseen foundation. No structure can exist without walls, and walls cannot stand without a foundation. There are two ways of manifestation in everything: one is the walls, as a symbol of the Teacher, and the other is the foundation, as the manifestation of the Mother of the World… (Agni Yoga § 326)

Thus the infinite Love of ‘the Bestower of the Unrepeatable’ is intertwined with the Will-to-Good of the great Master, the One who expressed the divine essence through form with the powerful words we solemnly sounded in the Living Space and asserted in the One Heart of humanity at the entrance into the Sign of Cancer:

I am the bread of Life

that divine bread that came down from Heaven and manifested itself to give life to the world.

(…) The one who experiences, who incarnates and who achieves divine expression through the medium of form is the soul, the self, the spiritual conscious man, the Christ within. When through this experience he has achieved maturity, he reveals the Father or spirit and so fulfills the words of Christ, when He said (in reply to Philip’s question “Lord, show us the Father”), “He that hath seen me hath seen the Father” (John XIV). (…) the purpose of form is simply to enable the self to contact worlds otherwise closed to it, and to develop full awareness in all parts of the Father’s kingdom, and thus demonstrate as a fully conscious son of God. Mother of the World

… The Mother is beauty, and the world is self-sacrifice. It is by these two fundamentals that the Gates are opened. The bridge between the planets and the abbreviation of the race cycles rest upon these two fundamentals. (Leaves of Morya’s Garden II § 221)

The cosmic Breath of the Mother of the World is all-pervading. Verily, all is imbued with it. From infinitesimal grains of dust to immeasurable magnitudes, life moves and breathes by this Breath. How then not to cognize the power which moves the Universe! How not to ponder upon the essence of Being! Fathom the rhythm of cosmic energy and understand the rhythm of evolution. The essence of evolution is unalterable and is measured by the manifestation of Infinity. You who fear the end, turn your face to the radiance of the Mother of the World and affirm yourself in the understanding of evolution. There is no limit to the sendings from the Mountains. There is no limit to the warranty of the far-off worlds. There is no limit to the natural treasures of the visible and invisible spheres… (Infinity I § 10)

Turn instead to the buried treasure of the invisible spheres, and direct yourselves toward a creation manifested beyond the limits of your comprehension… Perceive and enter into the rhythm of Infinity. And where will be the night? Where you seem to perceive its hush the hymns to the Mother of the World begin. Neither day nor night—only Her Radiance! (Infinity I § 13)
