In today’s heaven, the sublime Mercury, the divine Artist, Lord of the Centre and accelerator of Evolution, who inspires in all hearts of the System the yearning to imitate the celestial Model, is in conjunction – in the sign of Cancer, whose inner light illuminates the sea of life and is unquenchable – with Polyhymnia, She who has many Hymns, Muse of sacred and ritual dance and choral singing, and therefore Muse of rhythmic sacredness and solemn intimacy. Their joint flight reminds us of the importance of the power of rhythm, of which Polyhymnia is the supreme symbol, in the service of contemplation and reflection of the Model. Only through the solemnity and sacredness of true Love is it possible to enter into deep resonance with the laws, principles and values of the transcendent dimension and manifest them on all planes in daily life; these are the keys to being Builders of Harmony, capable of making works of Art out of their own lives!

Love was the impelling motive for manifestation, and love it is that keeps all in ordered sequence; love bears all on the path of return to the Father’s bosom, and love eventually perfects all that is. It is love that builds the forms that cradle temporarily the inner hidden life, and love is the cause of the disruption of those forms, and their utter shattering, so that the life may further progress. Love manifests on each plane as the urge that drives the evolving Monad onwards to its goal, and love is the key to the deva kingdom, and the reason of the blending of the two kingdoms eventually into the divine Hermaphrodite. Love works through the concrete rays in the building of the system, and in the rearing of the structure that shelters the Spirit, and love works through the abstract rays for the full and potent development of that inherent divinity. Love demonstrates, through the concrete rays, the aspects of divinity, forming the persona that hides the one Self; love demonstrates through the abstract rays in developing the attributes of divinity, in evolving to fullest measure the kingdom of God within.
