Psychosophy

Neologism composed by the union of two elements: 1. psycho- and 2. sophy.

Psycho-

Word-forming element meaning “mind, mental,” from Greek psykho-, combining form of psykhé.

Sophy

Word-forming element meaning “knowledge,” from Old French -sophie, from Latin -sophia, from Greek -sophia, from sophia “skill, wisdom, knowledge,” of unknown origin (source: www.etymonline.com).

1. Psycho- (only in composition with other words), Indo-European root *SPA-/*SPU-, which expresses the idea of ​breath. The word psyche means the breath of life in Homer, and the soul in Plato.
2. Sophy comes from the Latin sophia, translated from the greek sofia, wisdom, knowledge. Its root is not yet defined: for the majority of scholars is *SAP-, connected to the idea of juice/flavor/hindsight.

Etymosophy result: wisdom of spiritual life.

Healing

Healing is a noun derived from the verb “to heal”, Old English hælan “cure; save; make whole, sound and well”: “restore to sound health,” from Proto-Germanic *hailjan (cognates: Old Saxon helian, German heilen, Gothic ga-hailjan “to heal, cure”; Old Norse helge “holy”, “sacred”), literally “to make whole,” from PIE *kailo- “whole”, the same root of health.

‘Healing’ expresses the concept of restoration of wholeness.
