Linguists are divided in identifying the Indo-European reference root, but agree to give to it the same idea of “flow”; for some, it is *SRA-; for others, it is *RI-; for T. Rendich (Dizionario etimologico comparato delle lingue classiche indoeuropee, Roma 2010, Palombi Editore, p. 336), it is “ṛ/ar/ri”, to express the idea of ​”motion in harmony with what is right and orderly in nature;” sanscrit ṛta, right match, order, rule; Greek ararisco, suitable.

Etymosophy result: ordered motion.
