The Orbits, the infinite planes identified by the cycles of revolution of the celestial bodies, are the substantial basis of the Cycles, the spatial breaths of Consciousness (see From linear to cyclical time, first chapter).
We continue to know them from the perspective of heliocentric astrology (extracts from “The Solar System in Space” by E. Savoini – in translation from Italian – see previous article The Seven Orbits – images and links are by the TPS editorial team):
ORBITS AND LUMINARIES.
“For a Luminary, an initiatory Being of an extremely high level, the Orbit is the middle Path, the Path of balance and of victory, with which It identifies itself. If considered one and the same as its Luminary, the Orbit signifies spiral evolutionary progress.
This being so, it is surprising at first sight to ascertain that Orbits of the same Ray do not correspond to the various Luminaries: for example, on the fourth it is not Mercury, lord of the Fourth Ray, but Jupiter, of the Second Ray, that revolves. So, it is for all the others. The only exception is Vulcan, first Luminary on the first Orbit.
It can be said that this is unexpected, so much so that it would seem to require the total revision of the system of hypotheses so far constructed. It seems that something does not hold up or is not in its place: here is the first reaction.
But if we reflect calmly and carefully this first, hasty judgment is reversed. As we will try to show, the arrangement of Orbit / Luminary does not invalidate the hypothesis, but it suggests other ones, rich of foreseeable developments, to which we could not otherwise arrive. This unforeseen event introduces a new idea, and it is a good example of how one must not trust the proposals of the intellect, which often takes for granted and considers “logical” that which instead challenges its working rules because it transcends them.
In brief, the situation is the following:

To repeat, therefore, in the solar Star the Functionaries do not occupy the Vertices corresponding to their Ray. Venus is not in the fifth position, but in the third, Uranus is not in the seventh, but in the sixth, etc.
Here is another new field of research where to put to test the capability of the intuition. In the cosmic order, so evident, a similar arrangement cannot be governed by the simple, automatic laws of mechanics, and only a fool would see it casual. It has to be interpreted, as is done for all the great symbols of life, dropping any bias and serenely accepting the state of things.
We can begin by recognizing that it is not indispensable that the number of the Function (of the Summit) corresponds to that of the Functionary, at least during the evolutionary process (this is also demonstrated by the experience lived in the human micro-system). It is also plausible to assume that every living solar system in the Cosmos has developed its solutions, such as to distinguish it and perhaps even as to indicate the level reached. These are two minor assumptions, which enrich the mind and prepare it for new advances, when the time is ripe.
What follows is an observation: the last table shows up a remarkable triple symmetry in the order of the Solar System:
1) – Mercury and Jupiter
4/2 2/4
2) – Venus and Saturn
5/3 3/5
3) – Uranus and Neptune
7/6 6/7
It should be noted that the central Orbit, the fourth, belongs to Jupiter, in other words, to the Second Ray. Such symmetry demonstrates a precise act of will, to be hold with respect and taken into consideration. The supreme Intelligence which guides the System towards its cosmic destiny has made this arrangement for a great project of development of His, and all the creatures who benefit from it are called to understand it and collaborate in proportion to their capacities.”
