2.6 ATTRACTION – Attraction is unifying tension
6.2 MOTHER – The Mother is the sacred Womb of Space
This Polarity of Ideas expresses and realizes the primary relationship between:
2.2 SPACE – Space is Infinity fecundated by Life
and
6.6 SYNTHESIS – Synthesis is the triumph of the One
Attraction, through its unifying tension, leads the Many back to the original source and realises the fiery synthesis of the polarities inherent in every consciousness.
“The omnipotence of the Cosmic Magnet corresponds to the psycho-dynamic power of Space. The attraction of the energies corresponds to the tension of the Magnet. The property of the attracting principle is inherent in each human action”. [1]
The Mother, sacred womb of Substance, is the generative power of Life, which welcomes within herself the supreme Reason, the Son.
“Ruleress, I pronounce Thee the great Co-worker of Cosmic Reason. Ruleress, thou, beyond all cosmic powers, bearest within thyself the sacred seed which provides radiant life. […] In Thy Heart life is conceived, and We shall affirm the Ray of the Ruleress.” [2]
The Mother, symbol of the infinite and cohesive Space, expresses her inherent magnetism by means of Attraction and becomes a receptive and loving container, so that consciousnesses can rise and find the radiant aspect of the One in the Synthesis.
“The realization of an attraction tenses the spirit striving to the principle of Fire. When the spirit touches the fiery principle, it is imbued with the power of the Cosmic Magnet. Each contact with the fiery threads effects a link with the higher worlds. Only the principle of consciousness can impart the beauty of the higher worlds. When We speak of the higher worlds, an understanding of every subtlety must be manifested. Creativeness untiringly attracts all the higher elements for perfecting. Thus, the spirit can strive toward the evolution into perfection. When the spirit-understanding will begin to draw in the subtle elements, it will then be possible to manifest to humanity the symbol of true Be-ness. Thus let us build the path to Infinity.” [3]
“In the interchange of energies is comprised the most beautiful power of the Cosmic Magnet. The interchange is manifested in the striving in Cosmos toward perfection. The communion of spirit with spirit reveals itself as an interweaving of the subtlest energies. The interweaving of these subtlest energies draws a line which leads to the Cosmic Magnet. […] Thus the Fire blends with the currents of Space.” [4]
“Space is divine. It is the final Substance, of which everything is made. It is the Vase which contains Life, or Fire. It is called the Infinite, great Mother, universal magnetic field, cosmic Love, absolute Octave. It is the home of the seven divine qualities, the Seven Rays, and takes on their qualities and energies.” [5]
“The synthesis of the Chalice is the magnet of the heart. […] Thus, synthesis strengthens the predestination of the chain into Infinity.” [6]
Attraction calls every consciousness into the loving embrace of the Mother, which contains everything.
“Urusvati knows that one approaches the Supermundane World not so much through reason as through love. Great is the magnetic power of the feeling of love, but, regrettably, science does not know the true significance of this magnet. A loving man responds to the cosmic law of attraction, and thus receives special qualities which are characteristic of this law.” [7]
Finally, listening to the Mutable Cross activated by the Sign of today’s conjunction* and receiving the 4 Signs that animate it and the Rays conveyed by these four Signs, humanity – under tension – embodies and expresses the 4 evolutionary Mottos:
Virgo (2 – 6): “I am the Mother and the Child. I, God, I matter am.”
Pisces (2 – 6): “I leave the Father’s Home and turning back, I save.”
Sagittarius (4 – 5 – 6): “I see the goal. I reach the goal and see another.”
Gemini (2): “I recognise my other self and in the waning of that self I grow and glow.”
