Think of the stars that always give their light to humanity.
Be like these stars and give your love, wisdom, and knowledge to others.
Only when everything is given can you receive.
(Agni Yoga, Leaves of Morya’s Garden I § 323)
Today we celebrate the alignment on the ecliptic plane of the Polarity Sun, Earth with Regulus, which is one of the four Royal Stars of the heavens, extraordinarily bright and belonging to the Leo constellation. “It is called Regulus the Ruler, the Lawgiver, holding in its significance the thought that man can now be a law unto himself, for he has that within him which is the king or the ruler.” (Esoteric Astrology) The influences of Sirius, of which there are three, are concentrated in Regulus, a star of the first magnitude often called the Heart of the Lion or, indeed, the Star of the Law, associated with the Strength or will to manifest, according to the celestial Rule and the Science of the golden ratio of the Fifth Ray.
Let the Strength of Universal Love be the only Law!
Your joy is Our joy. When the enchanted flower of tenderness unfolds on earth, a new star is born in the Infinite. Numberless are the stars. The Milky Way of happiness bridges all the worlds. (Agni Yoga, Leaves of Morya’s Garden I § 334)
I am your Strength
This sentence is the fifth of the seven Affirmations with which the Master of Agni Yoga began the Call to gather his students, scattered all over the world and, in their grandeur and simplicity, these seven sentences take our hearts directly towards the Infinite; it seems that the limit of separateness vanishes in the consciousness and that gateway is also practicable for so many other hearts imprisoned by form:
I am—your Bliss
I am—your Smile
I am—your Joy
I am—your Rest
I am—your Strength
I am—your Valor
I am—your Wisdom
Heaven is an unlimited source of Energy that human beings know how to transform into Strength and into a symbol of Communion, consciously or unconsciously, by connecting the heart with Heaven, according to each person’s degree of communion and, in this regard, let us remember that Christ Himself, when He had the need, always procured it… simply by looking at the Heavens.
One example of this, among many, is chapter 14, verses 19-21 of the Gospel according to Matthew:
He ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he said the blessing, broke the loaves, and gave them to the disciples, who in turn gave them to the crowds. They all ate and were satisfied, and they picked up the fragments left over—twelve wicker baskets full.
Man, in general, merely desires emotionally without knowing how to direct the Strength of desire, which controls the processes of becoming, and thus remains stuck in the meanders of his personality. By contrast, when man learns to draw upon the Power, to the extent appropriate to the degree of his Communion, he increases his creative capacities.
Substance, that is Space, that is the Infinite,
that is the Mother of the World
“is the great creative force in our being.”
(Agni Yoga, Infinity I § 38)
In the year 6.2 dedicated to Space, Infinity, the Christ Principle of Love-Wisdom and the Mother of the World as the Bases of the New World Religion, the ‘note’ of the ‘star sowing’ (Sun-Earth axis aligned with Seven Master Stars, connected to the seven Rays) is that of the seven Assertions which open the Teaching of the Fire of the Heart* and admirably describe the qualities of the seven divine Energies, the Seven Rays.*
Seven stars of the Great Bear are the originating Sources of the seven rays of our solar system. The seven Rishis (as They are called) of the Great Bear express Themselves through the medium of the seven planetary Logoi Who are Their Representatives and to Whom They stand in the relation of prototype. The seven Planetary Spirits manifest through the medium of the seven sacred planets. Each of these seven Rays, coming from the Great Bear, are transmitted into our solar system through the medium of three constellations and their ruling planets.**
Love is to be considered as the Energy and Force of the universe and the solar system that causes and brings about powerful and vital changes in existence. Love is not a sentiment or an emotion nor is it desire or a selfish motive for right action in daily life. Love is the wielding of the force which guides the worlds and which leads to the integration, unity and inclusiveness… but it is a hard thing to practise, because of the inherent selfishness of human nature, which translates it precisely as desire.
Love is the Force that connects all Being, from the Cosmos to atoms.
Behind these concepts of the relation existing in time and space between the constellations of the Great Bear, the Pleiades and the sun, Sirius, and our solar system, there exists, it must be remembered, an immense series of interlocking triangles between the stars which compose these constellations interiorly and our solar system. You have, therefore, a relationship between:
- The seven stars, composing the Great Bear.
- The seven stars, composing the Pleiades, sometimes called the seven “sisters” or “wives” of the Rishis or informing Lives of the Great Bear.
- The sun, Sirius.
These compose major triangles of force and all are held within the radius of the Life of that Great Being Whose expressed, manifested intention is brought into being through the medium of these three related groups and our solar system. As hinted by me in A Treatise on Cosmic Fire, these four groups of stars constitute the manifested aspect or personality of a great and unknown Life.***
And the Soul, the relationship between Spirit and Matter, is the arbiter in this duality, the intermediate principle, the link between God and his form. The Soul is thus another name for the Christic Principle, both in nature and in the human being, that Force of attraction in the manifested universe which, when activated, holds all forms together, guides all God’s creatures forward on the path of evolution, from one kingdom to another, towards a magnificent goal.
Forms may be born and die, while the Life Force remains, annulling the inadequate form or utilising it, when suitable, for the development of the evolutionary Plan.
The Heart of the Cosmos encompasses everything, from the small to the great, so much so that all the power of the spirit has to be mustered to understand its greatness. None is rejected but everything is contained. The Universe is the reflection of the divine, and in each luminous spark there is the sublime energy.
In its Breath and in the Cosmos, the Heart of the One Humanity (Earth) sings the seven Assertions of the Master (Sun) and radiates them infinitely. As the one planetary Server, we are in the Heart of Christ, and we can participate in the divine Nature, immortality, splendour and power of the Stars of the Spirit.
‘Those lights are the power of Heaven, which loves and gives freedom.
They are neither close nor far… and they are the people of Heaven.’
(E. Savoini, Book of Rituals)
As we have said, Space is Love and, despite the limitation that surrounds us, sometimes men, finding themselves in vast natural spaces, catch a glimmer of the sublime and enchanting divine Love that invites them to love and respect the origin of so much beauty and harmony. Surely in the near future, and there are already signs of this, mankind will learn to live observing Space, following its laws and being grateful for its unceasing, loving and patient hospitality.
In Infinity the creative process is free and within the reach of all, according to the Law. The presence of the Magnet, which is reflected in the heart, makes it possible to call forth the required energies, because the universal attraction guides and brings together that which is concordant, and, although at the human level the creative action takes place mainly unconsciously, it does not lose its value but, when the creative Force cooperates, it is possible to build according to a clear and accurate intent.
What is stupendous is the orientation to return to the Source, to unity, sustained by the Magnet that converts the many into the One according to the law of attraction (like attracts like). Throughout the Universe, a Force continually tends to draw together and blend all that is similar and affinities grow from one cycle to the other, overcoming every discord.
The pull towards union is the most powerful Force and is cosmic Wisdom.
The Strength of Love was the impetus for the fulfilment of manifestation. It is love that guards everything carefully, it is love that perfects all that exists and leads it on the path of Return.
A powerful phrase, to be repeated in moments of despondency, was given to a disciple by the Tibetan Master:
“At the centre of all love I stand and naught can touch me here and from that centre I shall go forth to love and serve.”
As evolution proceeds, love shows itself as a gradual expansion, passing through all stages until it reaches the spiritual, group stage which is more important or inclusive than personal relationships, although these also remain exalted.
The power that can save the world is the precipitation of Love, there is no separation but only identification with the heart of love; the more one loves, the more love can reach the Whole. Let us become a powerful, vibrant centre of universal Love!
“Let your heart be your judge, and faith your power.”
(Agni Yoga, Leaves of Morya’s Garden I § 15)
Learn of the power of the spirit. Its strength is inexhaustible.
A word is but a minute part.
As the whirlwind is but the visible sign of turbulence,
As the snow is but the messenger of the cold,
As the lightning is but the eye of the storm,
So is the word as a grain of dust
blown by the impact of a creative thought.
The source of thought shines into the eyes of those who see.
And the chord of tension resounds into the sensitive ear…
Understanding of the Beginning and of the Eternal fills each heart.
