Working joyfully

Fighting is like building”. [1]

And Humanity, in critical moments, is fighting an arduous battle, the one to build, or re-build, itself according to those Canons that will make it more and more similar to the eternal Model that lives in the heart of the One.

Every man yearns to understand, and to put into action, the purpose for which he came into incarnation, to fulfill his most truthful role in the world, made up of understanding, ardour and freedom. Each man follows the most disparate ways to reach the center of himself and from that place of fire to express his purest essence.

Expressing means working” [2] and this allows us to affirm that “every expressive work, if harmonious, produces beauty” [3].

In the ordinary world, everyone has a profession, a job, an occupation that makes them part of the civil assembly and that often takes on the value of an identification; when we think about ourselves we frequently do that on the basis of the work we do, the responsibilities we take on every day, the power, small or big, that this occupation gives us over nature and over others. And how many times we “fight” for a job, we sacrifice ourselves for work, we raise our work to the status of a divinity to whom we offer any sacrifice!

But there is a Work to which we are called as soon as we sharpen the “ears of the Heart” [4] and respond to the Call of the Spirit, incessantly summoning Workers for the construction of the human and cosmic Temple. And at this juncture there is no open competition, nor preparation, nor recommendation that matters: we must listen to the subtle voice of our consciousness and learn to resonate with the energy that vibrates within us and outside of us.

There comes a time when man realises that the fire which burns in him has a name, a sound, a colour; that this fire burns according to the celestial lights; that this fire finally shapes his life and leads him to recognise himself as part of a greater whole, at the service of which he wishes to be.

“The perfect server is he who does to the utmost of his ability what he believes to be the Master’s will, and the work to be done by him in co-operation with God’s plan. Then, having done his part, he passes on to a continuance of the work, and cares not for the result of his action. He knows that wiser eyes than his see the end from the beginning; that insight, deeper and more loving than his, is weighing up the fruit of his service; and that judgment, more profound than his, is testing the force and extent of the vibration set up, and is adjusting that force according to the motive.” [5]

Man finally understands that there is a greater Work and that Work becomes his life and his life becomes Service.

“Those beings who, after having built the minor consciousness, abandon it to identify with greater wholes, serve spontaneously: the Sun is the shining example of this”. [6]

Thus, just as in the ordinary world, but at a much higher turn of the spiral, man takes upon himself the load of a fire, a sound, a light, that is to say a “job” that he performs in harmony with his deeper self, with his true nature and, by virtue of this profound response, he starts working for the Common Good.

“This means that realization of communion with the world and of usefulness to others completely transforms people”. [7]

In such a way this craft becomes the symbolic representation, the canon, of the construction of the Human Group according to conscious, ordered, collaborating ways. Men can find themselves together guided by a great Project, a planetary Plan, and each can offer his Work according to the subtle function which has been entrusted to him, a function that gradually shines more and more in him and makes him responsive to the only true rule of the Heavens, which is Service”. [8]

So the Work goes on, so the Temple rises towards Heaven, so men become One Humanity.

At this moment in which Mercury, Lord of the Model, and Venus, Master of the Golden Construction, find themselves in Virgo, in heliocentric conjunction, this common song resounds in Space; it is the song of the Builders who raise the Temple of Humanity.

To celebrate this common Work, we’d like to offer a flower of Beauty to Space, a video that poetically illustrates the Work of each man, work that will be compensated with joy, the salary of the Builders of the New Culture.

Lights, colors and symbols to represent the 42 Functions or “Crafts” of the Plan, that “Project of Love and Light” with 49 Goals to be attested and sown, starting from the higher mental (causal) plane, as a prototype of the harmonious group Work that awaits the New Humanity. (See “Asserting the Planetary Plan“).

Joy floods everything. In the light of the Sun, the Work grows and takes shape. Builders and Warriors unite. It is the feast of bright work, of advancement, of rhythm, of victory. (…) Light as children, the Builders turn their backs on the Temple. They gaze upon the celestial spaces, empty of forms, where everything is One”. [9]
