Today we celebrate the second of the 12 Festivals of the new world Religion, the Full Moon of Aquarius – the festival aimed at asserting the Will to serve in order to realise Brotherhood, and at grasping and understanding, through the consciousness of the Disciple-Humanity, the Mystery of Hierarchy, the Order of divine Creators. [1]
On this Date, the note of the Service to the Good, the Beautiful and the True [2] resounds powerfully in Space, the container of Life: to Infinity, to the universal Brotherhood of all worlds.
Aquarius is the bearer of the Two Waves of Life and Love, of the Spirit in the service of Substance, and the Christ, Head of the Hierarchy and of Shamballa, World Saviour and Teacher, the Initiator to the Mysteries, is its Divine Representation, “He Who shows the light and pours out the water” – the Path to that simple truth [service] that transforms life into a miracle [3], into a cosmic destiny.
Nothing can stop the descent of the Water of Life, and its ascent back to Heaven is the Service to the Common Good, Temple of the world religion – the Communion or return to the One, to the Father, to the more abundant life.
“… that ‘life more abundantly’ (which He seeks to channel to us) is a free and flowing current, sweeping away obstructions and barriers, and establishing an unimpeded circulation of truth and life itself—the essential quality of both being love [the christ principle Buddhi – Love/Wisdom]. Aquarius is “water of life, poured forth for thirsty men”: it is the will to serve the One that pours unceasingly into thirsty consciousnesses the Water of Life, the fiery light of the mind, the fifth Ray that manifests the One in the Many, the Ideas in the Forms, through the creative Fire of the Mind, cosmic, solar, planetary or human.
Its water of life is therefore the spatial Substance fecundated, or ‘electrified’, by Life (Spirit), through the flash of Thought.
It is a synthesis of universal Love and Mind, the force that produces universality (initiation and universality are the dominant notes of the New World Religion), that is, understanding, identification and union with the Whole, with Being.
Aquarius governs the Second Centre, the planetary Heart, the Hierarchy, the Order of creative Entities that fosters the evolution of consciousness and informs the manifestation by guarding its sacred Essence, a shining example of the Will to serve, of the Second Ray of Love-Wisdom.
The formula “I am You and You are me, parts of the divine Self” expresses with greatness and simplicity what we call Service: the activity of the mind that has been initiated to the purposes of the Universal Mind, at the Service of the cooperating Soul and more and more identified with the divine inner Design, the Plan of Love and Light.
To teach us the use of the will is therefore the beneficial Jupiter, the ruler of the Sign (for disciples and initiates), that guides Man to become a great Server of the world who contributes to serve the Whole. His current transit in Pisces together with Neptune, the God of Waters who “veils the Christ as the initiator of humanity”, reveals to the Hearts the solar Christ, the Truth of right systemic relationships, the Unity in the Father, in spirit: “Jupiter gives an inherent tendency to fusion which nothing can arrest. The achievement of ultimate synthesis is inevitable, and this Jupiter promotes”.
In Aquarius also the Moon, the hierarchical ruler (beyond the 3rd initiation) that in this case symbolically veils Uranus (exoteric ruler for ordinary humanity), expresses herself with great force, and therefore this full moon is particularly powerful: Moon or in reality Soma, the principle that fecundates Substance, “the divine beverage of gods”, veil of the third divine aspect, gives shape to the Water of Christic life and Uranus provides it with the best conditions for its fulfillment. Creation provides for the realisation of the One-Humanity, of the hierarchical Humanity, the ever higher synthesis between the three planetary Centres (Shamballa-Hierarchy-Humanity) so that their fused energy, the saving force, precipitates in due course [6] Communion, Brotherhood, the primary Idea of the New Era, of the New Culture, of the New World Religion:
“Brotherhood, as it essentially is, constitutes a major mystery… you understand brotherhood in terms of the One Father and His children. That understanding is in itself so limited and inaccurate that it serves mainly to distort the truth; yet all that you can grasp at this time is embodied in this concept. The nearest description of the true relationship might be said to be as follows: Brotherhood is an expression of the relation which the planetary Logos (on the cosmic mental plane) bears to His Personality as it expresses itself through the planet with all its forms of life, upon the cosmic physical plane; this relationship is focussed through Sanat Kumara Who is the individualised Mind of that great Life… It is this basic idea which governs the Council Chamber at Shamballa and which constitutes the motivating impulse behind the planetary expression of livingness. It is this also which characterises the ideal for which the Hierarchy stands and which implements the Plan; it is this spiritual planning which results in the growing “forms of relationship” which today seem to be taking definite shape in the concretising of the divine project: Right Human Relations.” (A. “Brotherhood is a lofty expression of mutual human relations. In the state of Brotherhood one may reach a free realization of Hierarchy…” (Brotherhood § 51)
The Aquarius project envisages an assumption of responsibility, and it calls the Disciple-Humanity to the regency of its own field of Service, in golden proportion with the other spiritual Hierarchies, to perform a new Act of love by free and responsible will, in Brotherhood with the “system of hearts” of the universe.
“… Humanity will, therefore, invoke the spiritual power of the Kingdom of God, the Hierarchy; the Hierarchy will respond, and God’s plans will then be worked out on earth. The Hierarchy, on a higher turn of the spiral will invoke the “Centre where the Will of God is known”, thus invoking the Purpose of God. “The Brotherhood (…) is a Beacon of Light, it is as a Watchtower; thus must the manifestation of the Brotherhood be understood. (…) As a Beacon on a lofty peak, the Brotherhood applies its knowledge for the salvation of humanity.” (Brotherhood § 461)
“When the spirit understands that Service to Cosmos means bringing into life the higher principles, it strains its best levers. (…) When the thought of a great spirit awakens the consciousness toward a higher understanding of Service, it can be affirmed that cosmic striving is being conferred upon humanity. Therefore, it is most important that the thought of Service should permeate humanity. The carriers of the higher thoughts of evolution affirm Our Will. Thus is being established the higher cosmic cooperation. Thus, We carry the Cosmic Service together.” (Infinity II § 381)

As solar Angels, we make the Water of Life ascend, spreading the wings of the Swan in flight through eternity, a symbol of Life Itself, of the clarifying and purifying waters of Life of Aquarius.

1. In this year 6.1, the first of a septennium dedicated to the Idea of a New World Religion, we intend to celebrate the dates of the full moons, the sacred “doors” of alignment and synchronization between the three celestial symbols of manifestation, human (Sun/Soul, Earth/Personality, Moon/Bodies) and planetary (Planetary Hierarchy, Humanity, lower Kingdoms), associating them with 12 Mysteries and Ideas/Formulas, corresponding to the causal energies of each Sign of the Zodiac, by virtue of the fact that, according to the esoteric perspective, the Heart of Heaven is the Great Master of Masters.

Beauty, Goodness and Truth are very powerful real Entities, which are also declined on a human level as essential qualities, but which in themselves are transcendental Ideas and Lives that exert a magnetic pull in the Cosmos. “… The symbol or first expression of this (for all in the three worlds is but the symbol of an inner reality) is the driving urge to betterment which is the outstanding characteristic of the human animal.” (A. In the current solar system, as far as human evolution is concerned, the Aquarius-Moon relationship expresses the work of the corresponding Seventh creative Hierarchy among the Seven manifested ones, or the Twelfth among the 12 creative Hierarchies or ‘life units’ that form the Body of expression of our solar Logos. This Hierarchy of Beings are the elemental Lives, the “Baskets of nourishment”, “the blinded lives”, the etheric or vital substance of all things.
“The cause of manifestation is, esoterically speaking, the stimulation of the “dead lives” (the so-called inorganic substance) into activity and into usefulness to the positive Christ life, which is the agent of the stimulation. Hence the Moon is the symbol of the response of the dead lives to the outer spiritual impact. The central idea of occultism that even the smallest atom of substance has in it the germ of that which can respond to spiritual energy is preserved for us in the teaching anent the influence of Jupiter, the second ray agent of the Christ spirit.” (A. 6. The precipitation on Earth of the Idea of Brotherhood is expected for the 3rd decanate of Aquarius, in 1400-2000 years.
