6.7 – 7.6 Hierarchy and Communion

From the Lambdoma of the Genesis of Ideas:

6.7 HIERARCHY – Hierarchy is the Order of divine Creators

7.6 COMMUNION – Communion is unity with Being

This Polarity of Ideas expresses and realizes the primary relationship between:

6.6 SYNTHESIS – Synthesis is the triumph of the One

and

7.7 ORDER – Order is Freedom

At the level of abstract or fiery Thought (where, for the esoteric vision, the human Soul, the “body of causes”, stands), the attempt to understand and live the quadripartite relationship between Synthesis,Order, Hierarchy and Communion is analogous to a squaring of the circle, at the centre between the World of Ideas (circle) and that of Forms (square).

Ideas are real energies and living Entities, they are the powers that produce precipitates, and directing our contemplation and reflection to these Sources of events and things raises our vibration and perception of existence, a very urgent and necessary act in these times of confusion and blindness.

“Rulership is not in crowns nor in crowds, but is in the cosmic expanse of ideas.” (Agni Yoga Series, Community § 84)

The Universe works and stays together in freedom because it is One, because it is governed by absolute Unity, because it is an unlimited Communion of relative units. (from Expanding Consciousness, by E. Savoini, unpublished paper)

(…) In Cosmos everything is bound by the affirmed dimensions of a powerful Hierarchy. Thus, all energies are mutually bound. Thus, the thread of the heart is linked with Hierarchy. Thus, this great bond establishes the cosmic Substance. (Agni Yoga Series, Hierarchy § 398)

(…) those who search for Truth can find the significance of Be-ness only in the path of ascent toward Hierarchy… the law of Hierarchy is the leading principle. (Agni Yoga Series, Hierarchy § 420)

Hierarchy is the Order of divine Creators

The term Hierarchy derives from the late Greek ierarchìa and is composed of the union of two elements:

1. ieròs, sacred, which expresses the idea of seeking a relationship with the divine;
2. archìa, guide, government, which expresses the idea of being the first in value, deserving, “the one who is worthy”, revered and perfect; and indicates the motion to unite.

The word hierarchy therefore expresses the idea of a “guide to the relationship with the divine”, with an intimate emphasis on the concept of union.

The ‘hierarchical arrangement’, which is an essential feature of the Order: universal, solar, planetary, is however a Hierarchy of Functions, not of Characters who perform them. Of course, in the completed and regular Order these two aspects (Functions and People) are equalized and identified, but for all those formations that are still under development, and therefore necessarily imperfect, it is prudent to keep the two concepts separate. The Function is what it IS, and it is impersonal, the functionary is still burdened with those impurities which he is getting rid of, and can belong to various evolutionary levels. (E. Savoini, Order, unpublished paper)

According to the teaching of Enzio Savoini, an enlightened Thinker of our time, it can be defined as hierarchical:

– the intrinsic quality of psychic Space, through which every element is arranged according to the value of its function and collaborates in the life of the whole without reservations or vetoes. (from Asserting the Planetary Plan, Goal 2.7)

– the perspective that considers Space as an ordered set of centres that are in a golden and harmonious relationship… the perspective that recognises the elements that compose it as part of an order made up of laws, principles, functions, causal and consequent structures, made of major and minor features in a golden relationship, and that aims above all to maintain the union between the different parts and the intrinsic value of each one of them. It is the vision that guarantees Communion.

– the very structure of Communion.

Communion is actually quite different, it is established according to a precise hierarchical structure. The concept is clarified by stating that it is the organization of the centres that compose it, arranged according to their power, level of consciousness and operational capacity. There is nothing confused or indistinct, foggy or disordered, since this is expelled by the inner tension, which is unlimited. The sky is a good symbol of it, because it discloses to our sight stars, constellations, galaxies, star clusters, cosmic formations that reveal a hierarchical structure. (E. Savoini, Communion)

[…] The hierarchical structure of Communion implies a variety of collaborative functions, and increasing levels of responsibility. This suggests diversified organisms… the seventh power brings them together, magically, into one. The Cosmos is the organized Universe, namely the One manifested. (E. Savoini, Communion)

Many Divine Sparks have been scattered, but a Divine Communion is eternal. The source of Eternal Communion is spirit and actions, bound by the powerfully manifest Cosmic Law. (Agni Yoga Series, Fiery World III § 63)

Communion is unity with Being

By higher measures we attain the higher Be-ness. So great is the whole manifestation that a temporary existence on the planet expresses only a meager measure of it. And the cosmic fusion is called the synthesis of Be-ness. In spirit one can build more than with hands. By thought one can build an entire empire… (Agni Yoga Series, Infinity I § 140)

Only the Agni Yogi who having sacrificed the lesser self puts all his mental power to assist the evolutionary impulse, realizes Being and suffuses Space with joy. He does not live for himself, but to carry out higher wills, so he collaborates with the Universe. He is free, he flows in Space, yet he is focused on service. He is active yet indifferent. He causes events and does not bear the burden that might ensue. (E. Savoini, Comments to Infinity II § 101, 102, 103, 104, available only in Italian)

And, therefore, he cannot but see with the eyes of the heart; to hear the roar of the world with the ears of the heart; to peer into the future with the understanding of the heart; to remember past accumulations through the heart— that is how he must boldly advance on the path of ascent.

(…) On the path of the Hierarchy, on the path of the Great Service, on the path of Communion, synthesis is the one luminous path of the heart… The loftiest creativity is pervaded with this great law. (Agni Yoga Series, Heart § 1)

The Law of Synthesis is that which: “works through the Seven which yet are One; which points to the seven ways and yet those upon the seven ways are one; which initiates the universal into the many but preserves its integrity; which originates the plan but preserves intact the purpose; which sees the multiplicity needed under the Law of Sacrifice but subordinates that law unto the Law of Synthesis; which breathes forth the many Breaths and yet is Life Itself.” (Alice Bailey, Rays and the Initiations, p. 266)

Synthesis is an attribute of the divine will and the outstanding quality of Deity. (Alice Bailey, Rays and the Initiations, p. 120)

Synthesis is an aspect of the first divine characteristic, the Will, or rather, the Will-to-Good. This energy or influence, which the Christ Himself will wield (and for which He has been long preparing Himself), produces cohesion, a drawing together and a tendency to fusion and union. (Alice Bailey, The Externalisation of the Hierarchy, p. 648)

Synthesis is the triumph of the One,

it is the totality, the centre and the periphery, the circle of manifestation understood as unity. It shows that the existence of all things, abstract or concrete, is one.

Synthesis is the fruit of unification, abstraction and liberation. It is absolute homogeneity, essential unity, and progressive and dynamic movement.

Synthesis is, yet it is the reward of action and effort, on the Path towards Higher Evolution; it expresses the new note that springs from Shamballa, Synthesis is the expression of Shamballa.

Synthesis governs the Spirit that instills impetus in the Direction of Unity. (from 6.1 POP Ritual – Synthesis, unpublished paper)

What comes thy way for revelation?  What hast thou to reveal? Only that which has for aeons long existed and has for aye been here. The Oneness of the Presence; the area of love; the living, loving, wise, inclusive One, enfolding all and being all and leaving naught outside. (Alice Bailey, Rays and the Initiations, p. 302)

When rights and duties, equality and diversity, individual and collective find their synthesis, Heaven and Earth come together and social peace reigns supreme. A common freedom, orderly and secure, autonomous and hierarchical, then prevails. (E. Savoini, Seeds of 95, Vertex 1.5, unpublished paper)

The supreme summit of the Common Good is freedom, complete and ultimate for all entities, and the Order tends precisely to this single purpose without limiting that freedom, but rather expanding it. Where systems without freedom operate, one always discovers the presence of a pseudo-power, illegitimate and transitory, which is a true adversary of the Common Good. (E. Savoini, Order, unpublished paper)

Freedom is the true source of Order… (E. Savoini, Setting up a Plan, unpublished paper)

The Order thrives on freedom, and true freedom is possible only through Order.

Order is Freedom

Cosmic order has a feature that is lacking in the modest human concept: the ability to organise. It makes it possible to establish bonds, affinities and rhythmic operations between series of entities of very different nature, so that they freely contribute to building the common Good, that is, to creating the universal Community. This shines through the functioning of the solar System, but man finds it in himself, in the tasks of his physical organs, which are very different from each other and yet collaborate on the well-being of the whole: his very existence depends on that organising and secret power. It should be noted that this function does not have an organ of its own in charge of this… (…) Order is elusive, it has no seat. Dedicated to its task of establishing priorities, hierarchies, dependencies and sovereignty, it does not have an external agent. It is concluded that it has its seat in all the others, that is to say, it is all-pervasive. (E. Savoini, Neo-christianity)

(…) everything would always and only be chaos, if the Infinite (absurdly) did not host in itself also the ordering will, that is, if those values that we call the universal laws, whose real presence is manifested by the sovereign order that disposes of and rules everything, did not act there. (E. Savoini, Comments to Infinity II § Foreword, available only in Italian)

Order is the Will and the Power that exercises it. Without order there is no power and the presence of an authentic power is inseparable from order. (E. Savoini, Order, unpublished paper)

The Order is identified with its own purpose, which is precisely and appropriately the global order for the Common Good.

Order comes last in the list of divine virtues, but it germinates from the very first move of the Plan. The ecliptic is the emblem of solar Order, it is the Common Good, the ultimate Goal, the first Purpose… It combines substance with essence, it generates unity where only a series of distinct and very different organs appears, and addresses everything towards the goal set by the will of the One. (E. Savoini, Setting up a Plan, unpublished paper)

When Order is accomplished in Space, it flourishes, gentle and cheerful, and that much sought-after and admired miracle that is called Beauty is born. (E. Savoini, Order, unpublished paper)

In the centre, from the place of Fire, let us affirm:

In the Universe everything is governed by absolute Unity

and it is held together by the proportions of a mighty Hierarchy

Unity is the supreme foundation,
it is Synthesis, Communion, Order and Freedom

Great Gratitude to you TPS and to your most accurate and needed work. I hope to see Enzio Savoini published throughout the world. This is the most needed work to clarify what the Reappearance of the Christ is, and what and who to look for. There is so much misunderstanding and false imagination to this, and this will make it clear what is true, as only by this whole understanding will He recognized, as only He can solve this synthesis, as will be his work and effort, as this will solve the problem of mankind. By giving the Great Singularity, the Center of All can be known…..that will be his work, and that will be his proof.

  2. jogarceau says:

Thank you for this marvelous synthesis that touches both the heart and the head!
