The New Temple

Humanity!
Know thyself!
Build your Temple!
Manifest your Beauty!

«The king approaches his temple».

This results in reverence and achievement.
«Favorable to see a great person.
This will bring prosperity and smoothness».

Accumulation takes place on a righteous basis.

«To bring great offerings creates good fortune.
It furthers one to undertake something.»
for this is devotion to the command of heaven.

If one observes what they collect,
one can
discern the relationships of heaven
and earth and of all beings.

The Temple of Heaven

.

We have forgotten as Humanity that building is a basic element for every living being, we have lost ourselves within the materialistic thinking of the ephemeral construction of our existence, privileging form over consciousness.

But although Humanity is blind to true beauty, at times, this One Humanity manages to emerge from the pressing and depressive numbness of its existence, and thanks to the push of a heart impulse, True creativity is manifested.

A solar motion of pure and simple Beauty is then released, exploding in all its magnificence. Only through the Heart are true works of art born, creators of Beauty, of Harmony, of pure Light.

Let us contemplate how Humanity knows how to build! When it dares, when it gazes into infinity…

Let us behold Beauty with the eyes of the Heart!

Building the New Temple is an important and necessary step for the evolution of consciousness, especially in this time in history, where apparently darkness seems to obscure the LIGHT.

And to build we need the elements: “the science of the natural elements (earth, water, air and fire) and the subtle energies (etheric, emotional, intellectual) is the very essence of evolution. In the Infinite, navigable by the ordering power of the Magnet, one must know how to deal with one and the other, just as a navigator must know the winds, the tides and the currents, and a builder the materials, the soil, the climate. If this knowledge is sufficient, one can steer the ship, one can erect the temple.” (1)

And, as the great Thinker (Plato) teaches us,

“He who builds a Temple does not limit himself to the use of a single quality of stone, but chooses the best from the whole of nature. Then he is truly an artist.”

“The word Artist is derived from Art, which originates from the Latin ars. Indo-European root *AR-/*OR-/*UR-, meaning movement towards, connecting. Synthetic idea of ‘moving’, ‘working’, ‘attaching’ = idea of movement to unite.”

To be a true Artist is to exercise a unifying movement by imitating the Model, the World of Ideas.

There are in the manifestation of Life an infinity of Temples and models to imitate, which at the conclusion of the journey will lead towards the One, the true Model, the Origin.

Today, on the day when imitation of the Model leads us towards Love and Harmony, in the affirmation of the heliocentric Conjunction of Jupiter and Mercury, wondrous Heart of the Solar System.

Mercury (4th Ray), the Lord of Harmony, the Model, the Harmoniser, the Artist, the marvellous solar Messenger, and Jupiter (2nd Ray), the Lord of Love, the solar Master/Magnet, the magnificent spatial Builder, are conjoined in the sign of Cancer: the bearer of Harmony and the guardian of Love in the field of the sacred Construction of the Lighted House.

This relationship between Jupiter and Mercury reminds us that one of the most symbolic representations of the Lighted House is the hierarchical ‘Tower of Brotherhood’, which “is not a shelter, but a Beacon of Light, it is as a Watchtower”. (2)

To imitate is to be faithful to the model: imitating the Model implies repeating its procedures in every constructive act, at whatever level, on pain of failing.

Let us imitate and build the New Temple, keeping our gaze on the grandeur of Cosmos.

Let us guard and affirm this new Construction with the values of the Heart, towards the future:

“The heart is a temple, but not a hall of idols. So while We have nothing against the construction of a temple, fetishism or bazaars are unacceptable to Us. Likewise, when We talk about building a temple in the form of a heart, We do not have in mind a heart-shaped building; We are indicating the temple’s inner significance. A true temple cannot exist unless there is awareness of the infinite chain; similarly, the heart is in contact with all the sensations of the Cosmos.” (3)

The construction of a new structure passes through the idea, the thought, the creative fire of design. A considerable aspect of construction is that the seed-thought must be laid in the Heart, to allow the evolutionary radiance of the construction: it is to expand (Jupiter) harmonic structures (Mercury), receptive and emissive at the same time; a true Golden representation, reminiscent of our planetary Solar Angel: Venus, the Light-Bearer, the guiding Beacon for the Heart/Soul of the Earth.

The teaching uses the term SuryaVidya* – “Sun of Wisdom, as the Teaching of the Heart was sometimes called. This term denoted solar radiance, centrality, the fire of the heart”.

Let’s begin to lay the stones of the Construction imitating the Model: the New Temple must be inspired by the Tower of Brotherhood, symbol of Love and Harmony, also a reflection of a greater Model. Let us internalise the building process starting from the foundations and turn our gaze towards the Sun:

“And when you enter and start to build the tower,
Measure for the foundation by encircling the rock on which it will rest;
For from the tower shall you, builders, behold the distances!” (4)

“Deeply laid is the foundation. The builders laying the base know not the height of the future towers. But the architect already has designed their height. Some structures grow only in austerity, and with great difficulty.

Let cowardice depart and let treason build its own nest. By demolishing these nests with lightning and blowing away cowardice with a whirlwind shall We forge the way. Go and work.” (5)

Let us build the New Temple, let us affirm the Heart, let us raise the Temple structure, the Tower of Beauty, affirming our commitment as Disciples, as members of the New Group of World Servers.

“I am affirming the striving to construct a temple of the heart.” (6)

Each one of us must be a Constructor, must be a Bearer of the Temple, transferring all Daring into building true Brotherhood, for noble is the path of the Way of the Heart.

To erect the Temple of Beauty is to manifest concrete evolutionary growth, it is to realise the principle of Unity in diversity, it is to manifest True Hierarchical Brotherhood.

The building of Beauty is “not in luxury but in conformity. Only the evidence of conformity can uplift the spiritual consciousness. The ancients turned to the law of proportion, seeking the solution in numbers, but the fiery consciousness is beyond numbers and creates through immutability. Nothing is disparaged in this immutability, which in itself reflects the fiery law on the earthly paths. Thus can one gradually perceive the Higher Law.” (7)

“New circumstances will reveal the path to the future. Truth is always the same, but combinations are different, as they depend on the consciousness. So much that is beautiful ends up being destroyed due to ignorance of the temple of the heart. But let us adamantly strive to be aware of heartfelt warmth, and let us start feeling ourselves to be bearers of this temple. That is how we can cross over the threshold into the New World. How inconsequential are the people who imagine that the New World is not for them. Bodies may differ, but the spirit cannot evade the New World.” (8)

Let us also remember that one of the most important steps towards the ‘Temple of Humanity’ is the building of bridges to the Tower, those links that respond to the Science of Right Relationships: it is the ‘relations’ based on Consciousness, and not the ‘knowledge’ based on personality, that lay the stones of the Construction.

“Therefore, the first task of humanity is the building of the bridge of the Temple. The second task of learning communion with the far-off worlds will be easier. What some people now perceive vaguely will become a normal condition of planetary life. Do you not think that for such tasks it is worthwhile to preserve Earth? But as yet only a small minority thinks in this way.

The Thinker foresaw how few there would be who care to save the planet.” (9)

Let us build together the wondrous Temple of the Beauty of the Heart, through the constructive Fire of Wisdom.

Each day let us place a stone of the new Temple. Such is the work that awaits, which the disciples must perform and no one else could carry out. (10)

Devote all abilities to the great Service, that is, to the building of the New Temple. (11)

Chiang Rai – White Temple

.

We build because we are builders.
We erect the New Temple because we are the One Humanity.
We raise the Temple of the Heart and affirm Brotherhood.

“According to the grace of God given to me,
like a wise master builder I laid a foundation…”

1 Corinthians, 3:10

* Surya is a name of Indian origin meaning ‘sun’. Surya is also the Hindu deity of the sun. The name has Indo-Sanskrit-Persian origins and means ‘beautiful and shining like the sun and moon together’. The word Vidya, in Sanskrit, means knowledge, wisdom, science, and is derived from the root vid (hence Veda) meaning ‘to see’, ‘to know’.

Undesirable elements of right evolution are gradually being recognised and will fail. This is the time for the creators of the New Age to take up their roles.
