Irradiating the hierarchical Order

On this Date* of the cyclical time that leads, wraps, and in-forms us, it is the right time to sow the revolutionary, or better initiatory, value of the universal septenary order, the Canon and Rule of all harmonic Constructions and Unity, and basis of every organization and evolutionary fulfillment.

“Hippocrates said that number seven “By its occult virtues tended to the accomplishment of all things, to be the dispenser of life and fountain of all its changes.” The life of man he divided into seven ages (Shakespeare), for “As the moon changes her phases every seven days, this number influences all sublunary beings,” and even the Earth, as we know. With the child, it is the teeth that appear in the seventh month and he sheds them at seven years; at twice seven puberty begins, at three times seven all our mental and vital powers are developed, at four times seven he is in his full strength, at five times seven his passions are most developed, etc., etc.

Thus for the Earth. It is now in its middle age,** yet very little wiser for it. The Tetragrammaton, the four-lettered sacred name of the Deity, can be resolved on Earth only by becoming Septenary through the manifest triangle proceeding from the concealed Tetraktis.

Therefore, the number seven has to be adopted on this plane [4+3]. As written in the Kabala “The greater Holy Assembly” v. 1161:– “For assuredly there is no stability in those six, save (what they derive) from the seventh. For all things depend from the SEVENTH.” (HPB, THE SECRET DOCTRINE, Vol. 2, Page 312, note)

The Model for all harmonic Order, Group, or System among centers of consciousness, thus also at human and planetary levels, is indicated to be the septenary canon, the possible permutations or correlations between a triad of elements or fundamental aspects of the One.

“Life conquers Space through a system of Seven Centers”

They are the 7 spatial coordinates, the 7 Principles of the One Life, the Seven Rays or Builders-Logoi, the 7 Creative Hierarchies of the Solar Space, the 7 cosmic planes of Substance:“La Vita conquista lo Spazio tramite un sistema di sette centri”

“The seven rays are the sum total of the divine Consciousness, of the universal Mind; They might be regarded as seven intelligent entities through Whom the plan is working out. They embody divine purpose, express the qualities required for the materialising of that purpose, and They create the forms and are the forms through which the divine idea can be carried forward to completion

…They are the conscious executors of divine purpose; They are the seven Breaths, animating all forms which have been created by Them to carry out the plan.

…The seven ray Beings, unlike man, are fully conscious and entirely aware of the purpose and the Plan. They are “ever in deep meditation,” and have reached the point where, through Their advanced stage of development, They are “impelled toward fulfillment.” They are fully self-conscious and group-conscious; … These seven Rays, Breaths and Heavenly Men have the task of wrestling with matter in order to subjugate it to divine purpose, and the goal—as far as one can sense it—is to subject the material forms to the play of the life aspect, thus producing those qualities which will carry the will of God to completion.

They are therefore the sum total of all the souls within the solar system, and Their activity produces all forms; according to the nature of the form so will be the grade of consciousness. Through the seven rays, the life or spirit aspect flows, cycling through every kingdom in nature and producing thus all states of consciousness in all fields of awareness.

The Seven sacred Luminaries of our solar System

…All the Lords of the rays create a body of expression, and thus the seven planets have come into being. These are their major expressions … The energies of these seven Lives however are not confined to their planetary expressions, but sweep around the confines of the solar system just as the life impulses of a human being—his vital forces, his desire impulses, and his mental energies—sweep throughout his body, bringing the various organs into activity and enabling him to carry out his intent, to live his life, and to fulfill the objective for which he created his body of manifestation.

Each of the seven kingdoms in nature reacts to the energy of some particular ray Life. Each of the seven planes similarly reacts; each septenate in nature vibrates to one or another of the initial septenates, for the seven rays establish that process which assigns the limits of influence of all forms. They are that which determines all things … the necessity of Law. Law is the will of the seven Deities, making its impression upon substance in order to produce a specific intent through the method of the evolutionary process.”[1]

The Seven Rays are the Divine Builders of the new Solar Human Order, imitating that Hierarchy and Order that drives us, despite and thanks to us, from inner levels.

“The seven Ashrams [of the planetary Hierarchy] each express the quality of their ray, one of the seven ray types … The great Ashram is formed of seven major Ashrams and forty-two secondary Ashrams which are gradually forming…

…it is the service of the Plan which binds the seven Ashrams, with their subsidiary Ashrams, coherently into the one great Ashram.

The Plan is the expression of the Purpose or the Will of God.”[2]

The new human Order must learn to express the Seven Rays consciously, orderly, in planetary Group consciousness, first through small groups, systems or prototypes, then through more and more comprehensive units.

It will take all the Aquarius Age, or more or less, it does not matter, it takes to us – all those pioneering hearts of the restoration of the universal Order on Earth – to assert the septenary Plan of Love and Light.***

In due course, a One Humanity, united and hierarchical, will consciously lead our wonderful Blue Planet, liberating with order and ordering through liberty.

Only then will vision and reality be one and the same thing.

* Today, October 19, 2017, it occurs the last Sun-Earth-Uranus alignment along the Libra-Aries axis (the zodiacal Signs are the ‘inner causal spaces’ for consciousness evolution) before this solar Bearer of Renewal (Uranus, 7th Ray/Energy of Order and rhythmic Mastery) will irradiate the vibration of Taurus for the next 7 years (heliocentrically from September 3, 2018; geocentrically from May 15, 2018).

** According to the esoteric Tradition, our Planet, in its evolutionary scheme at various levels of existence, has just passed the middle age, that is, in terms of occult science It is:

– at the 4th chain of 7 (each chain is a system of 7 globes of different substance),

– at the 4th round of 7 (the cycles of the wave of life investing its 7 globes),

– at the 4th present globe (ie ‘apparent’ on the physical plane), and

– at its current fifth part or race,

therefore, after the greatest involution in the densest matter, the wave of life has reversed its sense of direction and ‘climb up’ again evolving towards essence, dematerialization, Spirit, the initial Impulse by the planetary Being or Logos.

That above not my thoughts. I copied from a facebook page re HB. Sorry do not have the author of the post. Interesting though, is it not?

Very interesting indeed. It completes and expands the subject. Also the Tibetan Master indicates this universal Hierarchy/Order of 1-3-7 encompassed by 10, the Number of Perfection. 7 is the Number of relative perfection, that is in manifestation, as you quote in your comment; a relative perfection before “a new higher beginning”, that is 8 (2x2x2), the Number of Christ, or Buddhi /Love-Wisdom expressed on 3 levels, the key to the Infinite (horizontal 8) or to nuclear energy of the atom (as Buddhi, electric Fire, is at the Centre of each atom/unit/monad of life, as the ‘vehicle’ of Atma).
We could think, from another certain perspective, that

      Atma/Monad-Spirit is associated to 1, 3, 10
      Buddhi/Soul-Consciousness to 2, 4, 6, 8 and
      Manas/Mind-Matter to 3, 5, 7, 9.

Really thanks John for sharing these illuminating thoughts. You are also welcome if you will like to post an article here on TPS, which is meant to be a communal platform to share and sow the “Ideas, Formulas and Forms for a new Culture and Civilization”.

    >>Why should the hierarchies sometimes be numbered or reckoned as seven, and sometimes as ten? Because ten is the most sacred fundamental number in occultism. It is that upon which the universe is built. The fabric of being is built along the lines of the decad or ten. The Pythagoreans, members of one of the most mystic of the ancient Greek schools of thinking, had what they called the sacred Tetraktys, a word referring to the number four; and how did they represent the Tetraktys? In this fashion: first a point above and alone, the Monad; then two points below that, or the Dyad; then three points below these, or the Triad; and then four points below these, or the Tetrad — ten points altogether.
They had an oath which they considered the most sacred adjuration of the Pythagorean School, which they uttered when they swore by the “Holy Tetraktys.” What is this oath? It is worth remembering: “Yea, by the Tetraktys, which has supplied to our soul the fountain containing the roots of everflowing nature.” This is just full of profound thought. Finally, the Tetraktys emblematized (among other things) the procession of beings into manifestation. First the Primordial Point, then the line, then the superficies, then the cube:
    1+2+3+4=10.
    tetraktys
What, finally, is the difference between the system of seven and that of ten? The seven is the fundamental number of the manifested universe; but over the seven hovers eternally the infinite and immortal triad, the Unmanifest. This is the key. Some religions specialize in sevens; but all religions have the ten, also, in their various numerical schemes.
As H. P. Blavatsky says, the number ten is the secret or sephirical principle of the universe, because on and through this denary system the universe is formed and built. Man (as a whole) is tenfold, the universe (as a whole) is tenfold, but both are septenary in manifestation. Every atom, every living being, and every universe is a complete hierarchy of ten degrees: three highest considered as the root, and seven lower in active manifestation. This root, or highest triad, is a Mystery-teaching, concerning which very little open explanation is to be found even in the ancient literatures.
In The Secret Doctrine, volume I, page 98, H. P. Blavatsky first enumerates certain things in the Stanza there printed, to wit: “The Voice of the Word, Svabhavat, the Numbers, for he is One and Nine,” to which she joins the following as a footnote:
Which makes ten, or the perfect number applied to the “Creator,” the name given to the totality of the Creators blended by the Monotheists into One, as the “Elohim,” Adam Kadmon or Sephira — the Crown — are the androgyne synthesis of the 10 Sephiroth, who stand for the symbol of the manifested Universe in the popularised Kabala. The esoteric Kabalists, however, following the Eastern Occultists, divide the upper Sephirothal triangle from the rest (or Sephira, Chochmah and Binah [that is, the Crown, Wisdom and Understanding]), which leaves seven Sephiroth. . . .
Then on page 360 she says in relation to other matters: “The 10, being the sacred number of the universe, was secret and esoteric . . .”; and on page 362: “. . . the whole astronomical and geometrical portion of the secret sacerdotal language was built upon the number 10, . . .”
It may be interesting and well worth while to point out here that these quotations give the reason why the numerical computations of the esoteric philosophy have not yet been satisfactorily solved by students with a mathematical turn of mind — because they will persist in working with the number seven, alone, in spite of Madame Blavatsky’s open hints to the contrary, for she says openly that the number seven must be used in calculations in a manner hitherto unknown to Western mathematics.
The hint ought to be sufficient in itself alone, because the seven, considered as a basis for computation, is a very unwieldy and awkward number with which to calculate. The subject is alluded to in veiled manner in her esoteric Instructions, number I, page 9, in speaking of Padmapani, or the “Lotus-handed” — one of the names in Tibetan mysticism of the bodhisattva Avalokitesvara. H. P. Blavatsky says, after narrating a legend concerning this character:
He vowed to perform the feat before the end of the Kalpa, adding that in case of failure he wished that his head would split into numberless fragments. The Kalpa closed; but Humanity felt him not within its cold, evil heart. Then Padmapani’s head split and was shattered into a thousand fragments. Moved with compassion, the Deity re-formed the pieces into ten heads, three white and seven of various colors. And since that day man has become a perfect number, or TEN.
In this allegory the potency of SOUND, COLOR AND NUMBER is so ingeniously introduced as to veil the real esoteric meaning. To the outsider it reads like one of the many meaningless fairy-tales of creation; but it is pregnant with spiritual and divine, physical and magical, meaning. From Amitabha — no color or the white glory — are born the seven differentiated colors of the prism. These each emit a corresponding sound, forming the seven of the musical scale. As Geometry among the Mathematical Sciences is specially related to Architecture, and also — proceeding to Universals — to Cosmogony, so the ten Jods of the Pythagorean Tetrad, or Tetraktys, being made to symbolize the Macrocosm, the Microcosm, or man, its image, had also to be divided into ten points. For this Nature herself has provided, as will be seen.
One more citation, in order to finish the subject. On page 15, H. P. Blavatsky writes shortly as follows:
As the Universe, the Macrocosm and the Microcosm, are ten, why should we divide Man into seven “principles”? This is the reason why the perfect number ten is divided into two, a reason which cannot be given out publicly: In their completeness, i.e., super-spiritually and physically, the forces are TEN: to-wit, three on the subjective and inconceivable, and seven on the objective plane. Bear in mind that I am now giving you the description of the two opposite poles: (a) the primordial triangle, which as soon as it has reflected itself in the “Heavenly Man,” the highest of the lower seven — disappears, returning into “Silence and Darkness”; and (b) the astral paradigmatic man, whose Monad (Atma) is also represented by a triangle, as it has to become a ternary in conscious Devachanic interludes.
