Value of Cycle and Direction

In this category of TPS research and sowing, the value of Cycles and of their Directions in Space is investigated, mainly of the heliocentric and geocentric ones, created by the planetary motions and alignments of the ‘solar centres’ on the plane of the Ecliptic, and between these and our Earth, or with some cosmic points and Fires (Cross of the Solstices and Equinoxes, conjunctions with some Stars or primary Constellations or with the Galactic Centre).

We are in the 7th annual cycle in the life of TPS, and it is nice and useful to resume the basic concepts of this working direction (see also the fundamental text From linear to cyclic time in the Documents page).

“In the infinite, or rather in the eternal present, quantity, size and distance do not exist; what is real are the directions that orient and link all spatial entities… Likewise time does not exist; in the infinite before and after have no meaning; only the cycles are of importance, active, rhythmic and qualified, created by the pulsating life of the solar System … the cycles, which, supported by their rhythmic creative discontinuities, are the matrices of continuous developments. The cycle is, in fact, that supermundane device that changes by rule the being in becoming, and returns the result (the expansion of consciousness) to the original being.”[i]

“Distances are quantities, and Infinity destroys them… They are, at the same time, the origin and cause of separation. Man is a victim of it and considers himself isolated in the infinite. He sees and conceives the world upside down: Space, which in reality unites, is understood as an insulator and separator; the Infinite, which is neither large nor small, appears to him to be an unlimited extension, which contains innumerable quantities. It is just a poor preconception, but how powerful! All men were and are carriers of it, with very few exceptions, and transmit it as a contagion. The result is a desolate and illusory world where separation and quantity, duration and extension reign, and it seems real and unquestionable to them.

Light, however, destroys illusions and signals errors.

Distances, therefore, according to the premises, are misleading, but directions, which are distances cleansed of quantity, are cosmic realities. Man covers them and limits them with the concepts of length and distance, which separate, but directions unite. They are pure spatial entities, and Space unifies, communicates and transmits.

The future of human relations, pressed today by the prejudice of separation, will see the insulating power of distances progressively wane, and the unifying power of directions wax. It is an ongoing process, and quick, in the physical world of communications. Everyone knows it and makes use of it, but the energy of spatial directions has yet to be discovered, which does not need any other instrument but the heart, and which does not only transmit writings and images, but feelings and thought. The directions, moreover, being unlimited overcome the planetary environment and place man in a conscious relationship with the entire Solar System.

… The directions are tracks of Light, drawn by the rays (unstoppable and of infinite speed), but their quality is not uniform: it varies with the spatial direction. It sounds like a play on words, but it is a truth. Directions affect the currents that run through them. In fact, their addressed goal channels in them the quality of its own energy, whose intensity and condition are varied by the relative direction.”[ii]

Energy follows the direction of thought according to the cycles of consciousness, of Light.

On the other hand, “the term direction combines in itself a concept which is both geometric and purposeful, just as it happens for the term plan”, the basis and concept of a thought projected into space.

If Directions are the Rays of Light/Consciousness of the living Space, of the Infinite, the Cycles are its Waves.

The cycle is, according to the geometrical key, the circle that a center traces by rotating around another centre, supported by a radial direction. But it is also breath, field, encompassing spatial love, comprehension, the four-fold heart, the creative spiral of life, evolution, consciousness and ever more besides.

According to the numerical key, the cycle is the action of maximum power and lightness that pi puts into place, which is to curve straight lines and to straighten curves. The relation between  the two centers is indeed geometrically defined by the diameter or radius (sun-earth) which by rotating becomes the circumference (heaven) according to the power of pi, that transcendent and infinite number (3.14…) that governs any rotating and spiral movement.

The cycle also hosts other sacred Numbers; for example, its progressive updating is ensured by the law of the logarithmic spiral, so that the evolution proceeds and increases forms according to the golden section (‘the lesser is to the greater as the latter is to the whole’), which then determines the relations and development of any evolving form.

Furthermore, the relationship between the main progressive goals of a circular motion, that is, between a quarter of cycle and the next one, is certainly managed by the square root, which resolves the crossing between two directions (through the hypotenuse), and brings “the Heaven into the heart”.

The harmonic (rational) relationships, finally, allow the understanding of the energies or qualities involved in the cycle, as well as their imitation and reflection in the construction of the form.

The physical key, another perspective of investigation and revelation, deals with the study of the cycle according to the analysis of energies and forces that physically allow this revolution, from which we infer that the balance between centripetal and centrifugal forces, between escape velocity and gravitational force (Law of Attraction and Repulsion according to esotericism) explains the trace of any orbit, be it a planet, a sun or a universe.

Its metaphysical counterpart recognizes that “tracing circles in the sky is not a sinecure”, far from it: it is the dance of Light and Life, the result of the extremely subtle art that balances multiple forces and directions, as vehicles of expression of as many Entities or directing principles.

The value or essence of anything is in Number, Pythagoras says; it is in Ideas, Plato says; it is in Love, the Christ says; it is in God, the devotee says. They are all telling the ‘truth’, because it has innumerable faces or aspects that change depending on the ray, direction of the gaze, or capacity for response. Uncountable but ordered, revealed or intimate, obvious or invisible, depending on the evolutional or cyclical position of the observing center.

In extreme synthesis, the Light or Consciousness, daughter of the Relationship between the Spirit-Energy and the Matter, evolves according to directions and cycles and, through them, is revealed.

To approach the exceptionally luminous mystery of the cycle and of the direction, to govern and exercise the real art of Construction, it is therefore necessary to be masters:

– of one’s own direction (the sword of the mind),

– of one’s own cycle (breath, existence),

– of one’s own heart or centre of consciousness (the cross of Life),

that is, essentially, of one’s amount of light, love and power, the three primary Aspects of any reality and mystery.
