Love is the universal Motive

Love is the Life motive behind all Creation, it is the cosmic Magnet, the boundless and luminous ocean “that moves the sun and the other stars”.

“Love was the impelling motive for manifestation, and love it is that keeps all in ordered sequence; love bears all on the path of return to the Father’s bosom, and love eventually perfects all that is. It is love that builds the forms that cradle temporarily the inner hidden life, and love is the cause of the disruption of those forms, and their utter shattering, so that the life may further progress. Love manifests on each plane as the urge that drives the evolving Monad [the spiritual Identity] onwards to its goal, and love is the key to the deva kingdom [Angels and elementals], and the reason of the blending of the two kingdoms [human and devic] eventually into the divine Hermaphrodite. (…) Love forms the sheath and inspires the life; love causes the logoic vibration [of the Logos or solar Lord] to surge forward, carrying all on its way, and bringing all to perfected manifestation.” [1]

Love is the directing and creating principle that this solar System must realise in its current second incarnation.

Therefore, we cannot but turn our hearts full of gratitude to Love: the perfect sound of Space, the song that forges all lives flying on the solar plane, the pulse that promotes advancement and inspires creatures to interweave their destinies to serve the purpose of the solar Logos, the blue Ray that adorns the worlds and reveals the shining glory of the Cosmic Christ. Love is the cause and seal of the whole Work.

It is through the Will-to-Good that one can express the power of Love, the energy of the second divine Ray; the Ray that “determines both His quality and His purpose [of the solar Logos]. Every unit of life and every form in manifestation is governed by this second ray. Basically speaking, the energy of love, expressed with wisdom, is the line of least resistance for the manifested lives in our solar system. This ray qualifies the life of all the planets, and the attractive magnetic love of God pours through His created universe; it emerges in the consciousness and determines the objective of all evolving forms. Each human being, as a whole, therefore, lives in a universe and on a planet which is constantly the objective of God’s love and desire, and which constantly (as a result of this love) is itself attracted and attractive.” [2]

“… Buddhi [love-wisdom] is found at the heart of the tiniest atom, or what we call in this system, electric fire. For the positive central life of every form is but an expression of cosmic buddhi, and the downpouring of a love which has its source in the Heart of the Solar Logos; this is itself an emanating principle from the ONE ABOVE OUR LOGOS, HE OF WHOM NAUGHT MAY BE SAID. …” [3]

The electric spark of the heart, the central light, daughter and flower of the solar Fire, is the key to realising “the aim of evolution [which] for us is love dominated by intelligence—or intelligence dominated by love”. [4] Igniting the heart and creating out of love is the process that transforms life on earth, that motivates a seeker to cooperate in plans of development according to the higher law, the Law that makes all things good.

Love one another as I have loved you said the Christ“the eldest of a great family of brothers”, the “first flower of the human plant”, an inexhaustible Source of inspiration to create the right relationships in the infinite chain that links the lesser creators to the Greater ones and re-establish the Plan of Love and Light on Earth. “It is the fact of unification as seen from the beginning and as existing ever and forever in the Mind of God Whose will embraces past, present and future” [5]. “Christ, whilst able also to say ‘I am the light of the world’, went further in His manifestation and gave a vision of the next step, demonstrating the light of the soul and pointing to the future, thus presenting that which could be because He had released on Earth the cosmic principle of love. Love is an aspect of the will… It is the will to draw into itself or the will to attract into itself, and this will, when exerted toward that which is not material, we, in reaction to the differentiating mind, call Love. But humanity has to see that which must be loved before that power of the will is sufficiently evoked. It is here that the wonder of the work of Christ, the Lord of Love emerges into our consciousness. He makes it very clear that this love which He demonstrated was an aspect of the will, functioning through the medium of the second ray; this powerful love released into the world the cosmic principle of love.” [6]

“Whoever wants to contribute to the gradual, orderly and universal development must therefore examine his own motive (first Ray), so as not to hinder the common Good. On closer inspection, this is the first necessity (since all others depend on it), and the motive is inscribed, indelibly, in the Book of Life.” [7]

A heart consecrated to the Will-to-Good dwells in the beauty of Being, opens itself to unlimited Wisdom and attains the ability to read and write in the Book of Life.

“The thoughts emitted by the evolved man do not remain wandering in Space… They rush into those fiery centres to which, by similarity, they are attracted, and pour out their energy there. On the other hand, thoughts convey those qualities which the striving (the motive) evokes from Space. It is therefore a dual process, whereby the creative thinker attracts energies to himself according to the quality of his commitment, and through his thought-forms he distributes them to the pulsating centres of equal attraction. It is not necessary for him to know where the latter are, nor what they are. It is enough that he pours his essential bliss into the Infinite. [8]

The responsibility assumed on purpose is the great motive and measure of our actions.

The responsibility assumed by the Disciples to serve Humanity as one Server is the beacon that fosters communions of great beauty, it is a radiant orbit that consciously intertwined with the orbit of other planetary and solar hierarchies leads to the triumph of Unity.

To learn the art of celestial navigation, to grasp the decisive deadlines for human evolution and to impress the touch of love upon the score of the common work, it is essential to observe and study the beats of the solar rhythm. “The planets themselves demonstrate their free obedience to the solar law, as well as the outcome of their voluntary discipline, as they are seats of orderly evolutions, all drawing life and impulse from the same source. Studying the rhythms of the planets and their qualities is therefore a second step: knowledge is expanded, details multiply, everything becomes more understandable and new serviceable energies are discovered.” [9]

With Love, the Magnet that moves the worlds, and in perfect fusion with the spirit of the Great Bringers of Good, we can create the causes of the future, realise the part of the Plan intuited for Humanity and regenerate the world. “… Christ, the Buddha, and their closest assistants made no use of magical formulas; rather, they acted and created in a way that fully merged with the spirit. … From where does one draw strength and the ability to impart understanding [and to regenerate the world]? When we link ourselves with the Great Spirit, recognizing cause and motivation, we set up an immediate consequence. We call on Those who earlier trod the great path of personal awareness and responsibility. And our appeals reach Them, through thousands of raised hands.

… it is spiritual merging that moves mountains. In desiring what is good, we receive the legacy of the Great Beings who bear the Good. … And we will gently carry the cobweb-laden scriptures into the archives, because we are on our way to the Sources. … And that is how your spirit has accepted its mission. … in the midst of our daily life do we drop in on You, our Elder Brothers and Sisters, to receive the treasures that we have accumulated and You preserved, for we are going to the simple Temple of the Supreme Spirit.” [10]
