Today, solar Festival or Full Moon of Libra (Earth and Moon in Aries), the tenth of the 12 Festivals of this year 6.2 dedicated to Space and Infinity as the Bases of the New World Religion, we celebrate the sacred Middle Way marked by the Thread of the Mother of the World.
THE MOTHER’S THREAD IS THE SACRED MIDDLE WAY
This Formula evokes the marriage between the symbol of the thread with which one weaves that sacred Mantle of the Mother (which is the living Space, fecundated by the Purpose and nourishment of every consciousness) and the idea of Balance, the supreme gift of the Energies of Libra, whose keynote for the disciple is “I choose the way which leads between the two great lines of force”.
Libra has as its esoteric ruler Uranus, Luminary of the 7th Ray, that Energy which connects Spirit to Substance, synthesising opposites, the Highest and the Abyssal, and in its honour we quote the affirmation pronounced by the 7th Vertex in the Ritual of this Sign:
The Middle Way builds the Order, and the Order traces the Middle Way.
Likewise the formulas manifest the forms, and these deliver the formulas.
The Middle Way is the Infinite, which is the only place of all central lines.
Blessed are those who choose that Way!

Agni Yoga helps us to collect our thoughts:
When We pointed out the urgency of regenerating Our Decrees concerning the equilibrium of the Origins, humanity did not accept this assertion and inaugurated transgression. Thus, one side transgressed against the cosmic balance.
We know the tread of the Mother of the World. We know the manifestation of the Mother of the World. We intensify the complete flow of the Magnet to restore the doctrine of the Heart. […] [1]
The thread is the symbol that connects and “sews” all of creation into unity: Unity is the first great Law of the Universe. The etymon of the words “religion” and “law” is the same; the Indo-European root is *LAG-, which is made up of the following sound elements: “motion that holds [l] in every direction [ag]”, “to bind”, “to connect”. The sound ag, from which the name Agni derives, the god of fire who was originally identified with the flash of lightning, refers precisely to the zig-zag motion of the flame.
The Mantle of the Mother that unites everything and the Legislation Power of Libra that balances everything indicate the fiery spiritual fabric that underlies all of manifestation, that “spatial fire” that it is up to us to intuit and help nourish, through the energy of loving Thought.
The sacred “Middle Way” is the path that recognises the balance of the two Origins, it is the evolutionary way that is traced by the cosmic laws of the divine Plan, the path that is Infinity.

[…] Cosmos creates for Infinity. Cosmos builds with co-measurement. Communion is imperative, and Materia Lucida is the consciousness of the cosmic rays. You are right in terming Materia Lucida the great Mother of the World. You are right in calling Materia Lucida Cosmic Love. […] Cosmic Justice is aware of the design of evolution, and the plan is executed in accordance with the design of one and the same law of the Fire of the Mother of the World.
Let the Fiery Flame illumine mankind! [3]
[…] Cosmos and our will symbolize the assertion of Be-ness. And the freedom of will is but a great possibility for the manifestation of the human spirit. When the Fire of Space directs the consciousness to the Infinite, then the rushing stream of energy is intensified. When isolation will cease, then the fusion will direct toward Infinity. In all Space there is one pulse, and the Law of Cosmos is one for all that exists. Creation is designated for all affirmed lives and for all Space.
The far-off worlds are our manifested path. The far-off worlds are our enlightenment. The far-off worlds are our vistas of the mighty vision of the Mother of the World. The human spirit seeking expansion finds the manifested far-off worlds. Let us say that the unattainable may become attainable and that privation may become wealth. Therefore, let us direct our will to Infinity, in all its beauty. [4]
The mysteric Formula of the Mother is intertwined with the Words of power of the Christ, asserted in the One Heart of humanity in the equinoctial interlude of the Sign of Libra:
I AM THE ALPHA AND OMEGA
Libra transfers into the Solar System the energy of the Third Ray (the Great Architect), of creative Intelligence: through this Energy, the first correlation between the One and the Two is made, the synthesis between the two Origins, and the Light of the evolutionary Plan springs forth from their marriage.
The symbol of the fabric of the Mother’s Mantle reveals precisely, through the warp and weft, with the threads stretched from top to bottom, with the infinite intersections and knots, the Law of dynamic Equilibrium of the Universe: between the Alpha and the Omega, in infinite cycles, the Plan of Creation unfolds, unified by the Purpose and the Christ Principle of Love-Wisdom.
The symbol of the thread also evokes another image: it is only by identifying ourselves with the thread of spatial fire that guides us and opens us up ad infinitum to the far-off Worlds that we can orient ourselves and discern in a loving way, that is, with wisdom put into action, the “middle way”, even in the labyrinth of bottlenecks of everyday life.
Let all of us disciples, who feel this need, dedicated to Service and guided by the will-to-good, build therefore new Formulas and spatial thoughts together, following the Mother’s Thread and contributing to writing the future of the Book of Life and to weaving the divine Veil that embraces and balances all:
A thought taken from Agni Yoga encourages us [5]:
[…] It will be asked, “Why is this time called the Era of the Mother of the World?” Truly, it must be so named. Woman will bring great help, not only by bringing enlightenment, but also by affirming equilibrium. At times of confusion, the magnet of equilibrium is disturbed, and free will is needed to reunite the broken whole. Maitreya, the Compassionate One, needs co-workers. He who sacrifices himself for the Great Era will reap an abundant harvest.
