The Externalisation of the Hierarchy

“In order to accept and admit Fire as the path to Hierarchy, as the path of love and compassion, it is necessary to be affirmed irrevocably with one’s entire heart. Only thus will the small stars become flaming giants.” (Fiery World I § 9)

Jupiter’s presence in Gemini was characterised by the Magnetism of Love, bestowed with full force by the 2^nd Ray of which Luminary and Sign are vehicles.
In this Sign of Love, consciousnesses have been tempered and the fire of courage has become the shield that protects against the arrows of separateness and deception.
Today, Jupiter, the powerful Lord of celestial Space, strong through the inheritance of this Love, sets His abode in Cancer according to the heliocentric perspective, where he cultivates Inclusiveness, that all-encompassing embrace that recognises the inherent divinity concealed within each and honours it.
In addition, the opposition that Venus, at the last degree of Sagittarius, traces with Jupiter engraves in space a burning desire for fusion and Oneness.
Humanity, especially in this year 2025, is therefore called upon to blend personality and soul, to rediscover all those precious values that belong to it but which it has lost, misplacing its orientation and ability to improve and evolve.

The forms which, through the moulding touch of Jupiter, will be born in Cancer, innervated by the energy of the 3^rd and 7^th Ray, will be luminous and perfect, rendered pure by the power of eternal values and transparent by the harmlessness of wisdom, invincible by the constructive power of Love and glowing with beauty by the very power of creative Light. “Light is creative” – the Teaching reminds us – “Light is the manifestation of the third Ray, also called active Intelligence. It is the splendour, the radiance. Light creates, that is, it arranges causes, projects, programmes. (…) First Light illuminates the field; the energies present there and corresponding to each other then come into tension, and from the coordination comes beauty. The passage of Jupiter in Cancer was preceded by the triumph of Light radiating from Wesak, the Full Moon of May (12 May, 16.58 UTC), an exceptional date in 2025 for the centennial Conclave of the Masters.
Such radiance is nothing less than a supreme meeting of Light, Wisdom and Love, made tangible by the “cardiac” exchange between the energies of the Buddha and the Christ, the officiants of this solemn annual rite.
The energetic flash of Easter, which in turn precedes Wesak, saw the emergence of substance from the bonds of matter through the Resurrection where the Sun/Christ conquers death and proclaims the power of Life. “Resurrection of the spirit in man, in all forms, in all kingdoms, is the objective of the entire evolutionary process and this involves liberation from materialism and selfishness.” (A. A. Bailey, The Externalisation of the Hierarchy, p. 470).
The space, renovated and ready to receive even more light, was thus prepared to celebrate the Wesak festival “… the festival of the Buddha, the spiritual Intermediary between the highest spiritual centre, Shamballa, and the Hierarchy. The Buddha is the Expression of the Wisdom of God, the Embodiment of Light, and the Indicator of the divine Purpose.” (Ibid., p. 421)
Through the open Eye of Taurus, Humanity has turned its gaze beyond the solar System, and onwards, towards the energies of the Zodiac, and then further still, into the depths of the cosmos which, as we know, pulsates and lives within us, flooding our consciousness with this same supernal light.
Still on the subject of Wesak, the Teaching urges us to “… to make the Wesak Festival (at the time of the May Full Moon) a universal festival and known to be of value to all men of all faiths. It is the festival in which the two divine Leaders, of the East and of the West, collaborate together and work in the closest spiritual union; the Christ and the Buddha use this festival each year as the point of inspiration for the coming year’s work. See that you do likewise. The spiritual energies are then uniquely available.” (Ibid., p. 641)

Strengthened by these powerful energies flooding the systemic Space, we can therefore look to the Hierarchy, the spiritual Model that draws consciousnesses towards the Reality of the Father.
In this upward ‘ascent’, Humanity is also assisted by the energy of Mercury, which on the 15^th and 17^th of May, crowning the passage of Jupiter in Cancer, will be in conjunction first with Saturn and then with Neptune, both in the final degrees of Pisces, and by the power of the double square between Venus, Jupiter and Neptune, which sows sparks of Love, Golden Constructiveness and Compassion in space.
The questions that Humanity asks about its existence and its role, planetary and cosmic, find their answers in the ‘depths of the invisible” where Neptune’s ‘divine restlessness” is illuminated by the power of Saturn’s Light that delves into the folds of form to extract the purity of essence.

Mercury, Lord of the World of Ideas, will then lead Humanity into the ardent fire of Aries where, at the end of 2025, Saturn and Neptune will be in conjunction, releasing the dazzling power of the eternal Models, those models that will have to become ‘substance’ within Humanity in order to give life to a New Culture and Civilisation.
The linking action between high and low, favoured by Mercury’s own work as intermediary, strengthens the union between Humanity and Hierarchy, elevates consciousnesses and puts them in the right tension, sets all inner chords in vibration so that they know how to embrace the Call which, in this 2025, resounds powerfully in Space.
As the Teaching reminds us, “Recognize the call even in the fall of the rose petal. Life is full of calls—the fire brings you to the summit of the Mysteries.” (The Call § 134)
The response to the Call is that first step which will enable Humanity to recognise the reality of the Hierarchy and to collaborate in the planetary evolutionary Plan, of which the Hierarchy is the guardian and promoter.
The Tibetan Master emphasises that “… a great and new movement is proceeding and a tremendously increased interplay and interaction [between Humanity and Hierarchy] is taking place. … At the great General Assembly of the Hierarchy—held as usual every century—in 2025 the date in all probability will be set for the first stage of the externalisation of the Hierarchy.” (A. This means that 2025 is the watershed year between what we might call the ‘old world’, built and regulated by old infrastructures and modes of operation, also of consciousness, and a world at its ‘nascent state’, that is slowly coagulating around a change in human consciousness, aimed at brotherhood, harmlessness and cooperation.
This transition will be assisted, in an unforeseeable future, by the presence, not only on the mental but also on the physical planes, of the Masters of Wisdom who are part of the Hierarchy, initiating the process of externalisation mentioned in the Teaching. A process that can be fostered and accelerated by the response and behaviour of Humanity, which finds itself, in these conflicting and confusing years, having to choose clearly which evolutionary path to take. The energy of Jupiter in Cancer, which accompanies Humanity at this juncture, therefore offers constructive and inclusive Love so that each individual may find his or her place in the great luminous chain that leads towards the Creator, aware of the importance of remaining in tune and solidarity with the Hierarchy and aware that free will is a gift of great responsibility that must be handled with wisdom and foresight.

“People will ask, “How can you refer to a Creator whom you don’t even know?” Answer, “Thanks to history and science, we know the Great Teachers who have created the quality of our consciousness.” “In acknowledging the influence of your Masters’ ideology, aren’t you restricting your freedom?” Answer, “The quality of freedom is remarkable. If freedom exists, then there is nothing that can restrict it.” The body may be in shackles, but nothing can diminish the consciousness except ugliness. When we touch the heights of freedom, we must protect ourselves from ugliness. If we wish to exalt matter, we need to think wisely about Beauty.” (Illumination § 322)
